I am always nervous about leaving my dog at a new kennels but I need not have worried at all. The staff were helpful and very friendly, the kennel area was well maintained (and lovely and warm) and my dog came home as bright and happy as ever. Would very much recommend.
We popped into this kennels today to get some info about boarding our dog. These owners are Not dog friendly people!! .. They were so rude to us. They don't like staffies as they get distressed and wreck their kennels.. Well if your dogs are wrecking their kennels then look at the care you are providing.. Awful place and by the sounds of it dogs were definitely distressed. Would not leave my dog there.
Excellent place to let your dog off lead and enjoy
Our two now three dogs have been visiting here once/twice a year. Luther, Missy and Dotty. Always excited and clean when they go in, always excited and clean when they come out. Our newest addition is only young and I thought she might pine for us. Well my bubble quickly got burst! We never have had any issues with kennel cough in over the many years they have lived here. Kennels are warm, clean and music is also in the background. There is also a huge paddock where they are walked or play together. There beds are raised off the ground and they have enough kennel space to be more than comfortable. Yes we do feel a tad guilty when we drop them off to go on our holidays but I know they are looked after and pampered. We are so grateful we found Thrift end and of course Amanda and her mum who look after our fur baby's.
These wonderful people have boarded our animals a number of times, they are caring and attentive to your pets needs always. Our most recent visits have been to the paddock. Our greyhounds love it there, it is safe, clean and well tended. This is a family-run business, always friendly and the dogs adore all the staff. Prices are very reasonable too. All in all, a great visit every time.
Had our dogs here for an overnight stay and couldn't be happier. Our dogs enjoyed being able to run around their large secure field.
