“Amazing place! Completed my work experience here and got to see the ins and outs of the business. It's a genuinely lovely place and the dogs are treated wonderfully. Andy (the owner) is a really dedicated guy and the staff all look after every dog to their own individual needs. There are plenty of safety measures in place and every dog is treated equally and given unlimited playtime, rest time and cuddles! I even brought my own dogs as I was so impressed. Thank you Howlies! “Over 2 years ago, we got married at this location. The day was perfect. The staff were helpful throughout the planning process and the day itself went without issue. 2 years later, we came back, now with our son, for our 2 year Anniversary. Again, the staff were extremely professional, the food was worth more than what they charged, and, to help us celebrate, some items were made free for us. I cannot say just how amazing every aspect of the Woodland Manor Hotel is and the staff are amazing”

“Just wanted to share the great service I received yesterday from Phoenix Pharmacy. I called to see if my prescription was ready and unfortunately one item was out of the stock. The lady promised to call their sister pharmacy when they were back from lunch and call me back which she did. I then went to collect my item after work and another lady there offered to see if any other local pharmacies had the missing item. She found two locally and gave me their details. They really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the whole prescription as I was getting quite worried about it. Thankyou to both ladies, and also the rest of the staff who are always so helpful”

“Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well Anna certainly can, she's an absolute diamond and miracle worker. My 7 year old boxer has been awful to walk, always pulling, crazy when distracted by other dogs and actually anything that moves. Well in one day Anna has trained both myself and my dog. She now walk by my side and I look forward to every walk rather than feeling anxious and stressed. Every dog is an individual and I know Anna would be able to work out exactly how to train each one .. plus the owner. Thanks Anna your a star ⭐”

Offer wide variety of blunt wraps and other equipment. This is the only shop that gives me the same feeling as I had when I was a young boy in a sweet shop. 10/10. “What a great little place! We stayed for a night whilst visiting Santa Pod. On arrival, Bobby came to meet us, showed us where we were staying, and gave us our keys. There were a couple of rooms accessed from the side of the establishment via a locked door, which you were provided a key for along with your room key. Once inside, there was a communal area with iron and board, Bobby's contact details should we need them and the WiFi info. From here, there was access to a shared kitchen we could make use of, which was very clean. It had all the amenities you could want. Then there were also the entrances to the rooms. Our room was brilliant, with what looked like a queen size bed. Which was amazing! It was decorated very tastefully and impeccably tidy throughout. The ensuite was exceedingly clean. We had our evening meal at the Spice Tree, Indian Restaurant, which shared the premises. The food was so delicious, and the staff were lovely and friendly. All in all, a great stay which I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks Bobby!”

Food was fabulous and even for myself being a celiac non gluten eater they were very helpful, helping me choose items of the menu and checking on things with the chef. Bought bread rolls out for our other party members quickly followed by a non gluten bread roll for myself. Portion. Size of food is big and delicious. Not cheap but worth it.”

“On arrival we were welcomed by a lovely lady who showed us to our room in this fabulous old manor house offering us country side views. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are convenient shops nearby and many pubs serving food within a few miles. The Five Bells in Henlow comes highly recommended. The grounds are beautiful and surrounding areas outstanding. We were so happy to find this rare gem. We will be back on our next visit to Bedfordshire for sure.”

“Had a fantastic weekend at The Bell for our annual family meet up. The staff were fantastic and worked so hard to ensure our party of 12 were looked after in the bar, at dinner and breakfast. A great place to stay and eat in the a lovely Bedfordshire village.”

“I live with my grandparents so it can be difficult getting out the house due to their old age as they need constant care. We’ve been using 121pharmacy for the last 2 years and honestly their service has been second to none. Prescriptions sent out are always delivered the same day even within hours depending on a matter of urgency. It is safe, efficient and very family friendly.”

“Had an overnight stay in Woburn last weekend. Longs provided a friendly and cosy place to stay for the night at incredible value. Highly recommended. The only small negative was that I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast that was advertised when I booked however when leaving the building at about 09.00am on a Sunday there were no staff on duty and definitely no smells of food being cooked. I guess I just picked a bad day but never mind.”

“No kettles in the room! But FREE coffee machines in the corridors which is possibly the best idea I've seen in recent years. I would much rather a freshly made coffee or hot chocolate than a sachet of instant while faffing with a kettle. Well done on a great idea. Rooms are spotlessly clean, Standard room a little small but adequate for a couple of nights stay. Staff helpful and friendly.”

“Been there first time. Great place for fresh fruit, vegetables & good quality meat. The store is clean n I like shiny floor. Well stocked and good value. Love the fresh bakery. Very helpful staff. Checkouts not too busy. Toilets available for customers. Large cafe area, good value meals and snacks. Big parking space and a garage for fuel. Overall great”

“Me and my son booked a room last minute, as soon as we arrived we were amazed at the aesthetic of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel was immaculate and very clean throughout. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our room was perfect, the bed was made all towels were provided and tea and coffee was there. The bathroom was great had soap and shower gels shampoo etc no signs of mould or dirt.. Extremely clean and very well presented. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a warm welcome 10/10”

“I was very upset coming to the out of hours vet. I was really worried for my rabbit. I was kindly offered a warm drink and tissues. After sitting in The waiting room one of the vet nurses took the carry case with my rabbit inside without telling me what they were doing with her. This made me more anxious and I had to go to ask reception where she is and why I’ve not been allowed to go with her. Reception then informed me that they give animals time to calm down in a calm room before being seen by the vet. In future if they could warn owners where they are taking their pets prior to consultation it would be great. Then when we had the consultation with the vet he was amazing. He checked her throughly and was very understanding & knowledgable. It is expensive but I understand for the out of hours practise I can’t expect any less. I was satisfied with the care she received. Blossom was given meds for her illness however she sadly passed away a few days after at our local vet. I’m grateful for the extra few days I received from the vet. RIP Blossom. You were so loved and adored”

“Many positives, especially Russell on reception who went out of his way numerous times to help us. Also to Michael the night porter who was very helpful. The disabled lift was not working and this should have been looked into quickly but wasn't. Although, I was able to access the bar and restaurant via the staff kitchen entrance luckily thanks to Russell and Co. Had to ask staff 3 times for a remote for the air-con. Russell was the one who resolved this, thankfully. I assume the other 2 staff forget. Hotel needs more disabled car spaces, 2 is not enough. Hotel located in a very nice quiet area of country. Breakfast was superb and all staff very helpful and friendly, although forgot one or two things. I'd stay again, which is a good sign!”
