Always go out of their way to help. One tip is always check if you have more than 2 prescriptions to pick up as usually only 1 bag is shown for collection on their computers.
After few years of doing better with new name and owners it's back to inadequate service. Often lacking basic stock, refusing to give basic meds like eye drops. Employed this man who is rude, ill speaking of the customers in front of them and knows everything better even before you explain or ask. Sometimes when you're not well the thought of interacting with him makes you feel even worse. Time to change pharmacy.
Just wanted to share the great service I received yesterday from Phoenix Pharmacy. I called to see if my prescription was ready and unfortunately one item was out of the stock. The lady promised to call their sister pharmacy when they were back from lunch and call me back which she did. I then went to collect my item after work and another lady there offered to see if any other local pharmacies had the missing item. She found two locally and gave me their details. They really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the whole prescription as I was getting quite worried about it. Thankyou to both ladies, and also the rest of the staff who are always so helpful

Excellent service at Phoenix Pharmacy Harrowden Road. I fell off my bike and had an infected elbow. The pharmacist saw me, recommended special dressings and self care, but advised I see the doctor if the problem persisted. The dressings worked a treat. The care couldn't have been better. Everyone was polite and attentive. Thank you.
I changed to this pharmacy in autumn last year as I was very dissatisfied with the pharmacy I was using. I'm delighted with the service I receive picking up my prescriptions. No more "can you wait an hour" like the previous pharmacy when the prescription should have been ready. Total confidence in the advice I have received from the dispensing pharmacist. Thank you
The new owners since July 2022 have been very helpful and provide a good service. Regular prescriptions are ready for collection and annual vaccinations done efficiently. Advice on medication is very sound and informative.
Gajen and Thiny took over the chemist recently and they are a lovely young couple, backed up by calm, caring staff like Trish. I mention that they took over recently so that previous, negative, comments can be put in context - i.e. they referred to the previous incumbents. All they do seems to be with the customer in mind. I'm saying this as a customer myself who is impressed by their ethos. I used to go to another chemist which was a stressful experience, shall we say - and I am not slow to feedback about such things. However, it's always nicer to be able to give good feedback. So 5 stars for Phoenix.
Booked an appointment, and made the trip over, to find them shuttered and not answering the phone. Assume they are taking money from the NHS for the 'service' they are providing. Absolutely appalling. I note "(Owner)" has taken the time to reply to this without leaving a name, or allowing a response. "Owner", you called me some two hours after my appointment, and your willingness to lie to my face says more about your practice than any review could.
