   Booked expecting a decent sized room. Walked in and it’s extremely small especially for 2 people, tv was very dodgy looked like it was about to come off wall, boogies on the wall, sink was dirty and cracked. mirror was dirty, weird smell come from the room. Mould inside the soaps and around shower. Sink in the middle of the room was inconvenient and water would spray everywhere. Door was closed but always gaped open, if I could have my money back for it I would! Felt very uncomfortable with a fire door being in my room also. they don’t move tables to clean or paint, was disgusting behind it. Tried going reception multiple times no one was ever there. WiFi and Internet didn’t work whatsoever in my room (room 1). Purple blanket on end of bed felt quite crusty like it doesn’t get washed and only there for display, shower takes ages to heat up and barely brings out water!!

   Hi there, I stayed end of September. Room great, so clean too. But had to ring back after I left, as on my last night. Someone tried to break in to my room. Not good to have this happen.

   I was extremely happy with my stay. I was there for my daughter's wedding and so did not partake of any meals. I stayed for 2 nights and was really surprised that after only one night, the room was cleaned, bed made, restocked with coffee etc and fresh towels. The room was lovely with ensuite, it was a lovely little hotel and the reason I chose it was because as a single traveller it was actually the cheapest. I would definitely stay there again if I stayed over in Bedford again.

   Me and my son booked a room last minute, as soon as we arrived we were amazed at the aesthetic of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel was immaculate and very clean throughout. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our room was perfect, the bed was made all towels were provided and tea and coffee was there. The bathroom was great had soap and shower gels shampoo etc no signs of mould or dirt.. Extremely clean and very well presented. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a warm welcome 10/10

   One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I was severely ill in hospital and my boyfriend travelled from Bristol to be with me. The hotel treated my boyfriend as a friend rather than a customer. When they saw him in distress, they were there for him and were supporting him in whatever he needed and going beyond what any other hotel team would do. It was an emotional time for him and they not only recognised that but did everything in their power to accommodate him. I am so thankful to the team at Verve. After battling my way out of hospital, they allowed me to stay with him for the night with a warm welcome and genuine care. The food was beautiful, loved the decor, bed was comfy and clean. No faults whatsoever...and I am a picky person. Dont listen to the negative reviews. They must have stayed somewhere else. The staff were the best team of staff I have ever encountered anywhere. Pleasant, attentive, caring and genuine friendly approachable personalities. :) When I am healthier, if I am in that area of the UK, it would be a delight to stay with them again. Rhys

   I needed to get to Bedford quickly because my partner was severely ill in hospital. I cannot thank the verve hotel staff enough, all of them went above and beyond to make sure myself and my partner when my partner was out of hospital comfortable. The hotel was just stunning and out of this world, the room I was allocated was lovely and so clean, the bed was very comfortable I had absolutely no problem catching up on sleep at all. I ended up needing an extra day which the hotel managed to arrange for me with no problem and when my partner was discharged they let him stay with me no problem at all and the staff were very kind to us. The resturant food was amazing and just what my partner needed coming out of hospital and the service was astounding never experienced anything like it. Thank you so so much for everything and hopefully if I'm ever passing I will be able to visit and stay again - Mr A Welsh - Room 17

2. Turbo TT (TURBO) ★☆☆☆☆

   Just got a very rude reply. I turned the radiators off the second we got in the room it was far too hot still hours later and throughout the night. Based on how rude the reply was I would suggest don’t bother staying here at all. Use your common sense. We Got put in a very small room and the temperature was hotter than the sun. Didn’t sleep as the place was absolutely roasting hot. Looks a decent hotel but do not stay in the rooms downstairs around the back. My colleague stayed in a room upstairs and was much roomier and not as molten hot Real shame as the chap I met at the reception was a nice guy and helpful. Obviously this is not the same person and they should learn from the nice guy at reception.

   Awful place and terrible staff and even worse management. If you have half a brain cell stay somewhere else. The décor looks like it was picked by a blind man running for his life while in a budget Asian store. The interrogation lighting everywhere is blinding. No atmosphere. Rooms are tiny and poorly appointed and again, designed by a moron. Breakfast is so so so bad it should be its own reality TV show. Simply clueless, awful, disgusting. Oh, and don't dare tell the management about your stay because they'll simply abuse you online and attack you and bully you.
