One of the most frustrating breakfast experiences. Waited 45mins and had to chase for food twice, only for the following to arrive. (Advertised as smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and sun-dried tomato). After asking to just pay for our coffees and leave the food (as it wasn’t as advertised), a member of staff went to get his manager, only for the manager on his way over to us, to suddenly start serving guests that had arrived to stay who had arrived after us. (Those guests were also told they couldn’t check in as the large table dining hadn’t given their keys back yet). The manager then mumbled a half-baked apology, didn’t offer to comp the coffees (his colleagues had said he would) and we simply paid and left. A real shame as the hotel itself is nice, but they prioritised a large table that arrived after us and left other diners feeling neglected. Much better dining options in Olney.

I was passing through the town and fancied a quick bite... What a pleasant surprise! I'll definitely be back soon, especially on a Saturday to see some live music.

Me my partner and son came here today for an evening meal and I can't rate the staff any higher than 5 stars. The member of staff who took us to the table was super polite and we ordered drinks. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes from Stephanie as we arrived at the table and introduced to Hannah as our waitress. Our drinks arrived very quickly and we decided what mains we were having. We ordered the soup of the day and garlic foccacia bread to arrive with our mains of garlic Kiev and burger and fries. All food arrived In good time and looked beautiful. The portions were huge and we tucked in. My Kiev had a lovely garlic sauce in a little pot that complimented it well. The broccoli it was served with was perfect. The soup came with sour dough bread and real butter in a massive portion. The foccacia bread was also huge and tasted good so dipped that in the soup also. I had a cheeky bit of my partners burger and it was really good and looked great. We finished off the food and ordered one more drink and toyed with the idea of pudding but the portions were so big we will leave that for another day. Stephanie came over before we left for a little chat and was a very attentive and engaging member of staff with a great personality. Thank you to the Bull for a nice evening and we hope to return at some point in the future.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Delicious food, fantastic staff. A very lovely morning special occasion.

Bread with butter in it, so you don’t have choice. If you love butter, you save time. Soup is a little bit salty, and creamy with seasonings. Heard that fish and chips here are the best in UK. I don’t know if it is true, but at least the fish is not fishy smell at all, but has the taste is nice. Though they cut the chips into thick pieces, still soft and tasty.

Had a lovely Sunday roast here (vegan) and it was one of the nicest we've had! The food was superb and the staff were sooo lovely and friendly! Especially the lady with the grey short hair not sure of her name! Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere in a Sunday. All the food was amazing and kids’ food great quality - not the usual nuggets and chips rubbish. Def recommend the Camembert starter and the mussels with chips. Huge portions too.

We were walking around Olney yesterday on a Sunday afternoon and popped into The Bull. We hadn't booked but they were very accommodating and found us to a table. We were just in time as after us people were arriving and asking for tables for two. As you walked in there were hand sanitizers in place. The waitress and bar staff who served us were friendly and we enjoyed our food.
