Found on the main road, there's parking for around 10 cars. It's road parking after that. There's a back and a front garden.. Dogs are welcome. Service was extremely slow. 15 minutes to get 2 drinks at the bar. People on the next table were complaining too.. Advertising Sunday lunch until 5pm but at 3pm dinners were sparse and some had run out. Claiming the best roasts in northants on their boards, but gave 2 roast potatoes that were rubbery and hard to cut, and 1 pig in blanket that looked raw enough to run off of the plate.... It's a shame as the setting and location is perfect. The service and organisation just needs to be better. Also, please fix all the broken wooden chairs out the front, and change the brown water in the dog bowls.

Excellent pub for a lovely Sunday roast. Very attentive and reasonably priced. The majority of the menu is gluten free or has gluten free options, GF roast includes Yorkshire and stuffing which is a nice change for gluten free. Staff very understanding and checked everything with the kitchen. Great place to visit and we will be back

Love the karaoke and quiz nights and always enjoy the food. Great range of classic pub dishes plus some really nice specials. Thank you Anne and team!

This is a really great pub, so friendly and welcoming even for us with 2 children in tow! Thanks for making us welcome and also for the delicious chips and gravy... Yum!

Our second Sunday lunch with Anne and her lovely staff. As good as ever - Anne’s gravy is legendary! It was busy but still had a very warm welcome and excellent service. Excellent value for money and we need to keep our village pubs going - we’ve eaten there many times - always good food and a great atmosphere.

We went to the half moon for Sunday lunch and even though it was really busy the staff were spectacular, I spoke to Bill, Karen and Victoria And they are a credit to the pub! Very helpful and friendly even though we could see they were under pressure! The atmosphere is lovely and I would definitely recommend a visit x

Not a bad little pub.. Changed hands a few months back and seems to be doing ok. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Not sure how the food works there or what it's like. There was a menu up and the the food listed looked reasonably priced. Toilets were clean. A party was being held so a bit rowdy the Karaoke kept them entertained and me and my girl.. Hope the locals use it all they will lose it...They need support.

Amazing food. Had the venison hot pot myself and loved it. Others had the fish and chips and they were also of note. Decent beer/cider/stout selection on tap. Well stocked bar with a variety of unusual spirits. Highly recommend.
