   Lovely pub. Our favourite local after recently moving to the area. No food so can’t provide a score for that - you can get crisps and snacks there. Really friendly staff and punters. Dogs very welcome. Great pub to stop at after walking in the area.

   I can't believe I've lived here for so long and have never visited this gem of a pub. Serving their own brewed beer in a fantastic traditional setting with numerous cosy rooms and regular live music - tonight's was excellent - superb venue.

   A lot to like about this pub. A local community pub with usually a choice of 3 or 4 cask ales, two of which are from the on-site brewery. Fairly large outside drinking area. Pre-pandemic, live bands used to play Sundays, not sure if that's re-started yet. Has a separate room which can be booked for meetings or functions.

   Lovely pub. They were really accommodating as there were 10 of us with 14 dogs.He went out of his way opening up a large room to the side of the pub(have to social distance).lots of room for us all. A fare selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks don't think they do food but we had a lovely time there. Even all the dogs left with a doggy treat. Would go there again when I'm up that way again .
