“It was a wonderful stay with our children as a treat. My husband and I had a lovely massage. The kids adored the pool. We sat by the open fire for hours and hours just taking in the ambience. The family room we had was lovely. Very clean and spacious. We all slept really well. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return. The only downside was we missed having some hash browns for breakfast!”

“This might be a new hotel. It looks like it might be just wrapping up its construction. Everything seems very new and fresh on the inside. You might double check in advance if you have an electric car as I’m not sure the electric car chargers are completely set up yet. Room is really comfortable. That is fantastic. As you can see, it’s a very large Staff is really friendly, and the breakfast was really good. Internets included and was pretty fast. Nice place”

“A lovely spot, members of staff are very professional and sweet. The food is decent, breakfast is absolutely top notch. Bar staff are all helpful and welcoming. Rooms are always clean and mint, smell fresh and well maintained. Been over 15 times never had to complain. 11/10”

“As expected, good clean room, noise levels are quite low, as long as the person in a room above you isn't heavy footed, nice friendly staff, breakfast was okay, would have been better if hot!”

“We used this Travelodge for 2 nights. Room is good size and clean. Lady in reception very pleasant. Located beside the fuel services we were expecting it to be noisier but we didn't hear a thing both nights. Burger king and Greggs were good value.”

“Absolutely the very best, the whole team completely adore animals and they're pretty good with humans to ! Our first dog went twice a year for all of his life and was treated like a King. We have just booked our new puppy in for a week in October and the girls are already very keen to have him stay, I just know they will spoil him rotten. I simply cannot recommend Denford Kennels highly enough, they do it because they love dogs and that shows in everything they do..... Simply the best ❤️”

“Outstanding experience. Our cat Maisie had never been left in a Cattery before. She was cared for with real love and attention. We were very impressed with the facilities. The living area was very clean with plenty of toys for Maisie to play with The sleeping area was comfortable and safe. We would highly recommend Precious Paws to anyone and will be using it again in the future.”

“We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

“We were pleasantly surprised to discover such a high-level restaurant and pub in the small village of Brigstock. The place has a beautifully authentic interior with thoughtful details that give it a unique charm. In the main dining area, there’s even a vintage pub game table — a lovely touch that adds to the atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the food is made with fresh, local ingredients from nearby farms. They serve brunch, have a pool table, two spacious terraces, a kids’ corner, and lots of board games to enjoy. There are also special events like quiz nights and Steak Thursdays with great offers. The service was absolutely brilliant — attentive, friendly, and professional. A true hidden gem!”
