Our alfie is a seasonal visitor, a great place, accommodation and staff are great and fairly priced too!
We used this place for ages, but never again. There was 4 days worth of poop in the litter tray when we picked our cat up. She has put in an obscene amount of weight and hasn't been the same since as very stressed and nervous. Really disappointed
After phoning dozens of catteries in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, Highlands was the only one with a vacancy at a months notice. I booked my cat in but was a little apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews. Please ignore these negative reviews as Highlands is a lovely environment to lodge your cat. Clean spacious pens and friendly staff made for a pleasant stay.
We left our two cats for 4 nights here. They were very well looked after, they were happy and content. They even replied to a message to allay my worry whilst we were away. Thank you for looking after my babies!
Absolutely brilliant with our two pet cats , very reliable and cats were carm and content on collection will use again.
Good communication with the owner, cat was happy and calm when collected, the only thing I would suggest is to extend dropping and picking up hours
As we are new to the area we called in to have a look around and found the cattery acceptable so booked our two cats in for a week whilst we were away on holiday. Turned up unannounced one day early to pick up the cats and found a completely full litter tray and mess everywhere in their run. The cats were very nervous and jumpy and not at all settled. Not at all impressed and will not be using this cattery again.
Went to collect my girls, didn't expect them to be fully cleaned out as it was early but didn't expect to see such a filthy litter tray, patches of vomit on the floor and diarrhoea down one cats leg. Gave them cats own food (explained when I booked that one has a sensitive tummy) and bowls-food suspiciously full on my return and bowls still in bag. Also gave stress relief tablets for them that weren't used and all round don't think they got any real attention. Also when I called to double check times before I left was told it wasn't in the diary despite having paid a deposit. Don't think I would bring them here again which is a shame as it was recommended.
Our cats have been coming here for last 12 years Harry always is reluctant to leave his heated bed and when we pick him up he always smells lovely and relaxed
