“It was a wonderful stay with our children as a treat. My husband and I had a lovely massage. The kids adored the pool. We sat by the open fire for hours and hours just taking in the ambience. The family room we had was lovely. Very clean and spacious. We all slept really well. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return. The only downside was we missed having some hash browns for breakfast!”

“This might be a new hotel. It looks like it might be just wrapping up its construction. Everything seems very new and fresh on the inside. You might double check in advance if you have an electric car as I’m not sure the electric car chargers are completely set up yet. Room is really comfortable. That is fantastic. As you can see, it’s a very large Staff is really friendly, and the breakfast was really good. Internets included and was pretty fast. Nice place”

“A lovely spot, members of staff are very professional and sweet. The food is decent, breakfast is absolutely top notch. Bar staff are all helpful and welcoming. Rooms are always clean and mint, smell fresh and well maintained. Been over 15 times never had to complain. 11/10”

“We used this Travelodge for 2 nights. Room is good size and clean. Lady in reception very pleasant. Located beside the fuel services we were expecting it to be noisier but we didn't hear a thing both nights. Burger king and Greggs were good value.”

“Absolutely amazing from start to finish. I actually cannot find enough words to express my thankfulness for the results of my treatment. From the very first contact to the end result my experience has been way above any expectations that I may have preconceived. I had a Xanthoma on my eyelid that had caused me great self consciousness and embarrassment for many years and my self esteem was at an all time low. Now thanks to Kolaine those feelings are now lessened . On my very first visit the client that was treated before me advised that they were “miracle workers” and she wasn’t wrong!!! I would thoroughly recommend this business and will be more than happy to visit again in the future should the need arise.”

“A perfect little hide away, so peaceful. The room was lovely and the view of the sheep from your bed in the morning. Great breakfast selection. Lovely little touches from the host Sam, including home made welcome cookies. Will most definitely be back.”

“A fantastic stay at Homefield Grange. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. The spa facilities are immaculate and truly luxurious. The therapists are skilled and professional. Great classes and early morning walks. My room was beautifully decorated with a great shower and a very comfy bed! The food was healthy, fresh, and beautifully presented and the two chefs are fantastic - really enjoyed the demonstrations which were so informative and inspiring. I came here to hopefully lose some weight but it has been so much more than that, I left feeling relaxed and refreshed - a real re-set. Highly recommended!”

“The hotel is close to the city centre and close to many amenities. The rooms are spacious and have everything you may need for a short or long stay. The service is outstanding, the staff is super nice and welcoming. The breakfast is complementary for sleeping guests, and it's really good both in quantity and quality. I stayed there two times and really enjoyed it, it will be my hotel of choice whenever I need to stay overnight in that area. Highly recommend! :)”

“One of my most favourite hotels in the whole of England! We make a pilgrimage to this hotel every year due to the most peaceful experience. One year we did the 3 days Christmas stay too! It’s just a beautiful 15th century oak panel building. The great dinning hall is out of this world, as is the service. If you want to feel like a king or queen head here! A fabulous weekend away, beautiful grounds to walk in. Can’t recommend enough.”

“I was lucky enough to win four tickets to Wicksteed Park in a competition, and I went there yesterday. What a fantastic day it was! I absolutely loved my visit and would highly recommend the park to anyone looking for a full day of fun. The first thing that impressed me was how enormous the park is. There's so much space to explore that you never feel cramped or are fighting for room. The size of the park gives you a sense of freedom and the opportunity to discover something new around every corner. Besides the space, there's a huge amount to do. The variety of entertainment is impressive, with attractions for all ages. Whether you're looking for big thrills or something more gentle, there's something for everyone. We spent the whole day there and still felt like there were more things to see and do, which is a big plus. For me, Wicksteed Park is the perfect place for a fun family day out. The atmosphere is great, and with so much to do, it's impossible to get bored. It was an experience I'll remember fondly.”

“We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

“Such a lovely stay in this hotel cannot fault it at all. Room was perfect we had booked a standard double and it seemed so much more than that, unsure if we were upgraded but seemed very spacious for a standard. Free standing bath was amazing, had double sinks and a spacious shower too. The spa was lovely it was peaceful and relaxing, staff were very welcoming and polite, had 2 coffees in there which were lovely. Made use of all spa facilities which were in good condition, not overcrowded at all which was nice. Provided robes, slippers and towels in the locker you are given. The hotel was clean and looked so lovely, we had breakfast in the morning which is great value for what you can get, I made good use of the hot drinks machine. Overall amazing hotel, friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Thank you.”

“I'm so pleased this place turned up on my Facebook feed. We decided to go tonight for dinner and we certainly didn't regret it. It's only a short drive from our house, a fifteen minute drive into the countryside is always nice. Lovely looking pub which was quite full in the bar, a good atmosphere. We were served our drinks by a very friendly lady and then we took our seats in the restaurant area. Served again by a very friendly and helpful young lady. We didn't wait long for our starters, which were presented and tasted fantastic. Our mains were just the same. Hardly any wait at all and the presentation was great. Everything was cooked very very well indeed, the portion sizes were generous but not over bearing and the tastes were sensational. We'll definitely be returning, the whole experience was exemplary. “This is a lovely hotel to stay in. The location is great and is on a road with lots of shops and takeaway food options if you don't want to use on the on site restaurant. There is a large free car park to the rear of the property which felt safe to park in. The room was comfortable and had all the basic equipment. My only gripe was that there was nowhere to sit. I did find the room too warm for me but understand that this is personal preference and for others the temperature would probably be good. However there was a large fan provided so this helped by creating some airflow. The bed was very large and comfortable. It was two single mattresses pushed together to make a large bed. It was slightly uncomfortable over the join where the two mattresses met but I quickly got used to this and it did not affect my sleep. The bathroom was fantastic. The shower was a large walk in that was big enough to fit 2-3 people comfortably. It had two shower heads, a large fixed rainfall head and a movable traditional shower head. The temperature and pressure was great. There was also a separate bath which I did not use but was a good size and had a seat built into the side. Internet connectivity was excellent and was fast and reliable with speeds of 50+ mbps which was great to have. My only negative was the room I was in was next to the 24 hour access door and so this was noisy at times with people coming and going but this is only a small issue and would not affect others in different rooms. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay again if I was in the area again”

“Very welcoming friendly staff, very accommodating. Lovely clean and tidy room which was spacious and had everything you needed, including mini fridge, hairdryer, tv, complimentary tea, coffee etc, also complimentary shower gel/shampoo. On request an iron and table top board are available at no extra charge, was also able to borrow a dish and spoon. Breakfast was not available but there is a sainsbury less than five minutes down the road so easy enough to pick up cereal and milk. There was some scaffolding up on my visit but that was due to solar panels being fitted, also noticed an electric charging point being put in the car park. I stayed for a few days while having renovations done on home. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.”
