Seems to me like an old Travelodge, if your working away you couldn't ask for much better, wifi, fridge, and decent double, digs are digs, town 1.5 miles away

It’s fine for an overnight stay. My photos as we are leaving NOT arriving ! Little tired in the rooms especially the bathroom. But it’s a value stay. This isn’t a spa. Clean and tidy enough.

The best thing was the receptionist and the warm welcome. The shower in the bathroom was very good too. Comfortable, clean beds, as you would expect. There was a bright light on all night in the yard just outside the window and it was a bit noisier than hoped given that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Overall, good.

Very welcoming friendly staff, very accommodating. Lovely clean and tidy room which was spacious and had everything you needed, including mini fridge, hairdryer, tv, complimentary tea, coffee etc, also complimentary shower gel/shampoo. On request an iron and table top board are available at no extra charge, was also able to borrow a dish and spoon. Breakfast was not available but there is a sainsbury less than five minutes down the road so easy enough to pick up cereal and milk. There was some scaffolding up on my visit but that was due to solar panels being fitted, also noticed an electric charging point being put in the car park. I stayed for a few days while having renovations done on home. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is ideally situated with lovely grounds. Looks very inviting. Lady at reception was very helpful and hotel reception had a little shop with a few drinks and nibbles to purchase. The room was clean although bathroom a little dated but was clean. There was a hairdryer ,fridge, toiletries,TV, fan for if too hot and heater for too cold somewhere to sit. The only downfall was the bed. I don't think I have tried to sleep in anything that uncomfortable. It rocked and creaked and sloped so the blood rushed to your head that we moved the pillows to the other end and then you rolled into the middle where it dipped. Sorry but it doesn't matter how reasonable it is. Your paying to sleep. Replace that bed in room 221

Easy check-in. Lovely spacious room. Well furnished and clean. Shame restaurant wasn't open for breakfast but I knew this when I booked.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Lady at reception couldn't have been any nicer. But if you have mobility problems tell them at time of booking and rooms at bottom can be allocated to you as no lift

Further EDIT. As mentioned once again, I haven’t stayed. It’s not about that, it’s about your tone and professionalism. You were very blunt and rude in your emails and as for the lies, maybe you should read the negative reviews on this page! It’s there in black and white. I’m not playing a game, but it’s important that others are prepared and heaven forbid if they have any issues, then they know what to expect as OTHERS have mentioned! EDIT. As mentioned below, I have NEVER stayed here before. However if anyone wants to see the correspondence I’ve had, feel free to contact me. The manager has been reported! Nothing fake about my ordeal I never actually stayed! I’m moving abroad and requested a longer stay to which the “manager” agreed and gave me a good price (March 2022) She then decided to not give me the deal and told me to book direct! When I questioned this, her attitude was actually one of the worst I’ve dealt with and got very argumentative. Told me nothing was agreed and said we’d been talking months (3 weeks). Refused to give me head office contacts, refused to be reasonable and to be quite honest, probably done me a favour in the long run as I hear they’ve suffered with mites and damp problems

This was actually a really nice play to stay. Rooms are good size with everything you need. Nice and clean lovely staff and a decent breakfast for an extra £10. Only downsize is that they only take card payment. I was allowed to pay cash as a one off but I had to leave a £60 deposit which I got back no quibbles. But it is only card payment usually
