Cancelled booking 1 week before an event we are attending. Wont get money back until the day before the event. having to look at hotels 10 miles outside of Kettering now. Shouldn't of let people book if they had maintenance coming up. Disgraceful service.

The hotel needs a revamp, everything needs to update. The mattress I could feel the springs digging into my back. Lefted early about 4am and approach the front door and couldn't believe my eyes, thick chains, and padlocked the front door. Climbed, over window to get out.

I would describe this as a budget contractors hotel. The whole place is very dated and tired. The bed is made up of a standard domestic divan base and a mattress thinner than a slice of ham, with no comfort. The TV was breaking up on most channels which may be to do with the area in general. The kettle is on a lead so you have to unplug it to pour it. There was no tea spoon, only a couple of paper straws, which are as much use as well... paper straws in a hot drink!!! The curtains are too narrow for the windows, so you have to choose which side you want the light to come in at 5AM! Inside the bath and the bath panel were both cracked. You also have a £50 security deposit, but really can't see why. However the room was clean.

Disgraceful from start to finish! Room was filthy and had not been cleaned, beer cans all over my room and a random fridge freezer in the room! The room looked as though someone lived there! The Night Porter was rude, disrespectful and appeared drunk! Refused to acknowledge my complaints and didn’t offer me an alternative room! The fridge was noisy so didn’t get any sleep! No toilet paper was in the room So had to have a shower to clean myself after going the toilet! I want my money back!!

Do not stay here! I booked in my mother and her partner for one week as the pictures online were gorgeous, unfortunately the actual place is hideous and infested with mould all over the entire property. Parts of the walls and ceilings have come off, buckets to collect the water coming from the ceiling everywhere. The hotel (if you can call it that) is falling apart! Checked out after one night of bad Asthma attacks of my mom and no refund for the remaining week! Contacted the booking site and they spoke to the hotel which then promised to refund the 50£ deposit and the remaining money, nothing… stay away!!!

Nice and good location, nice rooms, but no essential furniture's in all room like table and chair for work (but you will get upon request) i had to take table and chair myself from storage to my room, shortage on staff, not professional in serving guests, floors are shaking, no sound proof, we can hear the songs next room very loudly. I lived there for 35 days. overall adjustable for short stay.

We got our stay for cheap which is why this is at 3 and not lower. For a hotel/restaurant it was pretty dirty there was a lack of profession (and staff) not to mention the restaurant itself was closed - in the middle of summer (it wasn't a temporary thing either). The room itself was dated but we expected that the beds were clean the bathroom not so much the the shower railing collapsed when the curtain was drawn. Short summary; Very dated place with almost no staff, no restaurant and questionable facilities but it has what you need if your only stopping for the night and it's cheap which is the only good point. Would I stay again? As a last resort perhaps if if I were travelling on a budget and only needed an overnight stay.

The staff were very friendly a d helpful. The rooms were dated and needed some new decor. The food an beverages if you were staying in the hotel at the moment was discounted, and both food and beverages were good. The breakfast had been cooked and left in a bain Marie and had gone a bit soggy not the best. The cost of the board was good for the night, and the question of would I stay again probably but I would avoid breakfast.
