I had a wonderful, peaceful one night stay in beautiful surroundings. The room was just as it is pictured (so ofen they are not) and met all my expectations. The breakfast was tasty, I couldn't fault it. The hosts were lovely. I think the Hillcrest is value for money and class.
We went for our grandson's wedding at the vineyard down the road and booked the Hillcrest B&B in advance. Brenda and David were extremely welcoming, the 'Pink' room was comfortable and everything we needed and full English breakfast was included. So perfect for our needs.
A lovely weekend stay, room (pink room) was lovely, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. We will definitely stay again when we are visiting family in the area.

As previous reviewers have written, this B&B offer a wonderful stay. From the very warm welcome, the stunning bedroom, with the little touches that tells you a lot of thought has gone into made your stay as comfortable as possible. From the bedroom window there are lovely views of their garden and the countryside around. A delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. We really could not fault anything and look forward to going back. Would not hesitate to recommend this place. Thank you Brenda and David.
This is how a B&B should be, Brenda & David not only go the extra mile they create an atmosphere where you feel more like a family member than a paying guest. They have a beautiful home which they are very happy to share with you for the time of your stay. We were in the pink room overlooking the wonderful garden, we arrived to a magnificent sunset which radiated throughout the room bringing it to life while enhancing the delicate shades of colour of the walls. The room was very well equipped, a full-size wardrobe, plenty of draw space, tea tray and a fridge that blends in perfectly. A wash basin and a WC room. The bed was so comfortable that it was a shame that we had to get up in the morning. Outside of our bedroom was the tastefully decorated shower room. The bedroom drapes are of a superior quality that black out all light for a perfect nights sleep. On arrival at the breakfast room we were greeted with an abundance of choice, every conceivable cereal and yogurt. Tea coffee toast to personal order and a full English that Henry the 8th would be proud of. The view out of the patio doors was breathtaking, the garden in full resplendence with a vision of delight as the birds fed on the variety of bird feeders. Brenda and David are the perfect hosts, we were booked in for a three night stay but due to personal family reasons could only stay the first night before rushing back to West Sussex. Brenda was so understanding of our predicament and organised the bill to be adjusted with swiftness. Whilst we like to travel to different areas and never visit the same place twice we will definitely make Hillcrest an exception as we feel we have missed out on two wonderful days with our hosts.
What a fabulous find. This cute place was wonderful. The bed so comfortable, the place spotless, breakfast delicious. The views are beautiful. Brenda and David fantastic hosts. Brenda even gave us a lift to the village as she was going that way! They couldn't do enough for us. Totally recommend. We will stay again...
