Wish we had booked longer. High quality rooms, excellent communication. Sam is a wonderful host. Delicious welcome cookie and breakfast. Beautiful little village.

This is an amazing find. Sam is a great host and was always happy to help. The room is absolutely stunning, very clean and modern. I have stayed in many mainstream hotels over my career and I have to say this place stands head and shoulders above them. The breakfast was perfect and it took less than 10 seconds for the homemade cookie on arrival to disappear.

A perfect little hide away, so peaceful. The room was lovely and the view of the sheep from your bed in the morning. Great breakfast selection. Lovely little touches from the host Sam, including home made welcome cookies. Will most definitely be back.

This place has had one of the best if not the best room I have stayed in over my last 3 weeks in the UK. Large modern rooms, clean bathroom and lovely shower. Plenty of room to fit 2 large suitcases, 2 small suitcases and multiple other little bags without feeling cramped. There is a fridge, kettle, and all the amenities you need in a room. Would be nice to have a second stool or something so two people can sit in the room but there is a shared dinning room or outside area that can be utilised. The host is incredibly friendly and social, she provided us with freshly baked cookies on arrival and provided a guided tour of the accommodation. If you are introverted it may be a bit much for you! Amenities(snacks and drinks) that cost extra are clearly labelled as well. Breakfast is included in the room cost and is freshly cooked in the morning for you. There is a nice array of options available - smaller serving sizes so pick a few.

Fantastic second stay at Swallows Rest. A different but again very tastefully decorated room with amazing bath and shower. Great breakfast in the morning with homemade jam and marmalade and honey from the village. Excellent communication (booked directly) and would certainly say it is top notch for value for money.

The Swallow Rest B&B is fantastic. Sam was very accommodating and greated us with a warm welcome. She showed us to our beautiful room we found it to be a very clean and stylish place with everything you need for a night away. Our room was kitted out with a fridge stocked with local wines and gins. Our breakfast was delicious, cooked to perfection with homemade bread. We would definitely stay here again!
