We were given a lovely warm welcome on arrival. All the hotel staff were friendly. The room was a good size, it was clean and warm. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was fantastic. My only small complaint would be that the bedside tables and plug sockets were too far away from the bed. However, we were absolutely delighted with our stay and have already booked to stay again next year.

Myself and my husband decided on a last minute stay away. And the mercure did not disappoint. On first entering we were greeted with a warm smile and a Friendly welcome. Definitely felt like a Christmas welcome. With beautiful decorated Christmas trees and decor. We had and a double room with rainfall shower . There was a kettle in the room and coffee and tea .The room was well presented and catered for our needs. We opted for breakfast and evening meal. The evening meal was a 3 course and it was well presented and tastes lovely. The crumble for dessert was amazing.breakfast was buffet style. A little disappointed that there was no crunchy nut cornflakes. But husband tucked straight in to a full English with freshly brewed coffee. I would like to mention that all the staff were friendly especially Monica who works on reception. Her smile and welcome approach was delightful. I thanked her personally on our departure.

I stayed here for the weekend. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in the UK at these types of hotels. The gym was great, the room was clean and the bed was super comfy. All round great stay. The staff are amazing, they go out of their way to make your stay great. Special thanks to the tall guy from the restaurant in the mornings, even with a wedding party he had breakfast ready and hot for everyone. Awesome stuff! Thank you, I’ll be back.

My husband and I stayed here on Friday for one evening as we were visiting family for a birthday celebration a few miles away. On arrival the car park was busy but we found a parking space without problems. We were greeted by the receptionist who was polite and informative. We had paid a discounted supplement for a superior room. The room was clean and large. Extra towels in the wardrobe. Plenty of sockets around the room the bed was very firm but that what we have at home so was fine for us. The room was very quiet all night. Heating worked well. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we were visiting family that evening, although stopped for a nightcap on returning, as we hadn’t had a drink as we were driving. The bar staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was table service that morning we had the full English, two over everything except black pudding, one ample slice. Everything was cooked to perfection and very filling. Coffee was strong and good quality and a good assortement of teas. I couldn’t eat another thing but hubby squeezed in a pastry which he said tasted good. Checkout was simple and again the morning receptionist was friendly and professional, would definitely choose this hotel again. Thanks to all for making our stay enjoyable.

We recently stayed at the Mercure, Milton Keynes, while visiting a friend. The hotel is immaculately clean, modern and in a great location. The staff were all super friendly and attentive. Our room was on the ground floor quite close to reception. And although the room was spacious and clean, we found the bed to be a tad uncomfortable, perhaps because it's a linked bed. Nothing major but worth noting. During the night there was a dripping noise, presumably from the air-conditioning unit, which again was bearable but could be an issue to some. We stayed in the autumn but I'm sure in the summer, the AC would be very welcome. The rooms were cleaned daily, although one day our room seemed to have been half done. Towels were changed and bathroom cleaned but the bed not made up or coffee sachets left. This was rectified by reception, so once again not a problem. The rooms have multiply sockets, with USB points which is a luxury in itself. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the bar food was delicious and more than ample. We have an EV and although the chargers weren't working while we were there, there were plenty of high speed chargers in MK. My husband and I would definitely stay here again, the issues I've mentioned are very minor so please don't let these out you off staying at this hotel.

Very nice hotel inside, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The only issue I encountered was that the drain in the shower was very slow to drain, risking overflowing. The food was average and overpriced. Overall a good stay.

Paid extra for Jacuzzi bath, initially they didn't want to let us have a room with Jacuzzi, then the jacuzzi didn't work. They promised an engineer would fix, but he never arrived. Booked a pod for a romantic meal; food requested was not available due to gas issues in the kitchen, food we had was lovely, but I had been looking forward to a prawn starter and steak dinner. Was offered a complimentary drink for the lack of Jacuzzi, but asked for a pink gin and this was not allowed, only wine which neither of us really like.

Venue for a funeral wake. Nice size room, adequate facilities close for comfort break. Food and refreshments were nice, varied, and labelled for relevant dietary requirements. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Excellent service especially Sophia on reception and Dela in the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were both amazing. Bar staff very polite and friendly. Only comment was about housekeeping, be aware rooms are not made up on a daily basis after COVID (unless requested) and this wasn't conveyed to us. However, Sophia sorted this hitch out for us and nothing was too big a problem. Thanks for a great stay.
