Lovely and friendly. Accomodation was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Shirt walk to the main bar where food and drink is available. Good location for local attractions requiring an overnight.

First timer to this quirky venue. Recently had an overnight stay here attached to the Just Floyd tribute night & 2 course eveninng meal. Continental breakfast Food was delicious I had the Seabass, was piping hot & cooked perfectly. Breakfast the croissants were perfect & choice of toast & oats in yoghurt. Juice, Tea & coffee. Double bedroom in outside building was cosy, clean & warm. Nicely done. Sadly the TV had a poor signal. Lovely BIG BATH TOWELS

I’ve worked in hospitality and restaurants for four years, and I never (ever) leave bad reviews, but I was really disappointed with my visit today. We booked a table for Sunday lunch at 2:30. The food took an hour to arrive, and when it did, the beef was overdone, tough, and gristly. The rest of the roast and sides were lukewarm. A waitress checked back to see how everything was, and though a bit reluctant, as we didn’t want to seem difficult, we were honest. A manager came over and offered a brief apology but justified the poor quality of the food by saying they were fully booked and very busy. She also mentioned that they don’t usually open the ‘nook’, where we were seated, as if we’d been done a favour by being accommodated there, despite having a valid booking. I understand what it’s like, everyone has bad days and we’re not the type to complain unnecessarily. However, it’s not uncommon to be fully booked on a Sunday lunchtime when serving roasts, in fact, it’s entirely expected and certainly not an excuse for an hour-long wait for food of such poor quality. If the kitchen is not able to cater and cope at full capacity, the number of bookings should be adjusted accordingly. Please note, none of this was the fault of the waiting staff, who were pleasant throughout, and thankfully we were able to have some of the food taken off our bill. I will also say that we’ve been before and enjoyed the roast, the ambiance/ decor, and live music are great but unfortunately, we won’t be returning after this visit.

Went to the James Bond event. Marvellous venue with good acoustics. Food was delicious, great cocktails and lovely staff. The band were excellent, as were the casino tables - brilliant idea and playing with toytown money, meant we could enjoy ourselves more without losing our shirt!!!! Thank you

We haven't used the rooms, but as a concert venue, for "people of a certain age " it's perfect. Dinner and drinks on arrival, and seated gig with not a bad seat in the house. Why have i not known about this place before?? Its just great.

Really interesting place to shop for Indian style homeware or unusual art. Lovely cafe to grab a coffee or bite to eat. I find the homeware pricey but then it's imported so that obviously costs. Beautiful outdoor area which used to have a play area but this was removed so we don't tend to pop in as much. Definitely worth a visit though.

Such a beautiful setting but that was all unfortunately. Was hoping to come here for lunch with my family but when we arrived unfortunately they had sold out of everything 2 hours after opening….. (opened at 11am we arrived at 1pm) found that to be odd. The staff seemed stressed and unapproachable too. Nice for a coffee and cake.
