“This lady has done both my child's piercing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is super cautious and regularly checks in after while the healing process is taking place. She is very efficient, clean practice and can always check in with her with any questions. Highly recommend! I will also be contacting her again for my child's 3rd piercing (all requested by her) also will also mention my child is autistic and this lady has been great keeping her calm throughout.”

“Richard was the person that did my tattoo. I had a brilliant experience he really helped me. I had an existing tattoo that I wanted adding to enhancing. I would share a picture but at the moment it doesn’t look too great because of healing. I would recommend them as the whole team was really friendly and the building is extremely accessible, which is rare for tattoo parlours unfortunately at the moment they haven’t got a disabled toilet but they have plans to change that in the near future. It was such a lovely welcoming place, I am very pleased to have found them. I will be definitely going back for the touchups of my now five tattoos.”

“I got my second earlobes pierced at Guru today and the staff were so lovely and kind. They made me feel welcome, and went through all the aftercare with me. The jewellery is properly sterilised before the piercing, the studio itself was very clean and sterile and I felt comfortable knowing proper procedure was being carried out. The jewellery is of good quality, and I’m happy to pay abit more for it. Overall it was a lovely experience, and they made it very enjoyable for me. I will be coming back in future for more piercings :-)”

The staff were extremely friendly, and Elliot, who did my piercing, created such a positive and supportive atmosphere. I was explained all the possible risks, aftercare, and everything I needed to know. The piercing itself was done quickly and almost painlessly (the pain was like 3/10). “This was my 1st tattoo and was hunting around for the right studio/artist. I found gilded and their tattoo artist Adam. Once reaching out to him with what I wanted he quickly made a sketch which I immediately fell in love with. The price was very reasonable so agreed a date over email. On the actual day the studio was clean and had a lovely welcoming relaxing environment. Adam was friendly and easy to talk to, explaining the process and aftercare expertly. “I was very nervous before I went to get my nose pierced with Charles as I had a bad experience before with another piercering studio. Charles made me feel real calm and happy before he pierced me and it was quick and not painful. I would recommend Charles to anyone. Really happy with my piercing, but after a couple of days my nose was rejecting the piercing which I went back to Charles and he took it out for me and was really quick and friendly about it. Again, I recommend Charles to anyone as he is a good piercer, it is just that my body has rejected piercings before and again with this one.”

“Visited with my friend for galentines welded bracelets. The store is absolutely gorgeous and so is the large selection of jewellery. The staff are all really friendly and approachable. Izzy did our bracelets and she was wonderful. She went through all the possible options and aftercare in detail. Such a lovely person and clearly great at her job - as well as advertising all the products. My friend also had 3 piercings with a wonderful Australian girl who was also fantastic at her job and had such a great calming way about her.
