We had a fantastic 40th birthday here and have to say it was amazing!! The food was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Shout out to Amber, Rob, Anika and Josh! Guys, you really made the night special and made our friends and family feel welcome. Martin the Manager and Bex the organiser did a great job too. Would definately recommend to anyone looking to book for their next special occasion. Nic & Kev.

I've worked at The Seahorse a number of times now as a wedding photographer. It's one of my absolutely favourite venues. I mean, how could you beat the location? There are a few ceremony options available nearby including the bandstand, and Brighton registry office. The reception area with that stunning view is of course the centrepiece, and it's beautiful. Amazing beach access, a very lively location with passers by wishing the bride and groom well. Lots of fun photo opportunities. Very photogenic. The staff are also very friendly. Highly recommended for your big day.

Been to the seahorse 3 times. Every single time the service is spot on and the food is so good. Today seeing Rob and Ray was no different, great hospitality and service as it should be. They have made a great effort putting up the Christmas ball balls on the ceiling, again attention to detail on point. Thanks guys!!

We had our wedding reception here in June and had the most amazing day. It was great fun planning the day with Bex and we cannot thank you enough that our vision of how we would like the room to look became a reality and was just perfect. The food as always was amazing. The Manager Martin along with Rob and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly to deliver fantastic service which our guest commented on. We would definitely recommend this venue for any celebration.

Great restaurant. The staff was super kind and lovely and the food was awesome. We had to wait quite a bit, but it was well worth it! The portions are pretty big aswell. I had the Battered Haddock for 18,50£. I definitely recommend this one!

We came for an early lunch so it was us and only a few others in the restaurant. The view upstairs is lovely and the service was quick. Staff were so friendly. We had a few small plates and a drink each which all tasted lovely and came in good time. The only downside is the portions were very small for the price.

If you’re thinking of getting married here, do it. The BEST decision we made! The venue is absolutely stunning, with iconic views of the West Pier. The BBC team are fabulous. Bex managed everything with us from initial booking to making sure everything went smoothly on the day. She was AMAZING. Super helpful, worked with us to figure out the best way to do things and was also just a pure pleasure to spend time with and chat to. Bex was fab in helping us curate food and drinks menus to suit the budgets we had too. We had super cute fish and chip cones as canapés and a delicious 3 course sit down meal. Thank you to the fabulous chefs! We had our ceremony upstairs for 100 people, followed by our reception, dinner and dancing downstairs. We went on to the beach for a dance to Brighton School of Samba, which was so fun and was made so spectacular by the view on the beach. We specifically wanted a venue that felt relaxed - and that was exactly it. All of the staff were kind and friendly and felt like part of the day. This isn’t a super formal venue - it’s a fun one. Thank you Bex for being such a joy and so helpful and organised. And thanks to the whole BBC team for the amazing food, drinks and fun you bought to the day. You’re the bloody best!

Amazing view from this 30's design restaurant/bar Service is nice but they inform us that the food will take almost 30min to get ready for 2 plates... so unfortunately we do not taste the food just couple of drinks

Very nice location, and great layout too, making use of its position. Good choice of food on the menu, and all tasted great, nicely cooked and presented. However, sat upstairs and the food comes up in a dumb waiter, and was luke warm to cold. We were with a family group celebrating two birthdays so didn't say anything to ruin the great atmosphere, but just wished the food had been hot, which was the view of a few of us. That said, still tasted great, the staff were really friendly, and we'll come back again but as a smaller group.
