Best pub in town. It's the place to be. There is a wonderfully eclectic mix of DJ nights on throughout the month in the bar, fresh live music upstairs, decor like no other (see photos), award winning vegan kitchen and friendly staff. Couldn't want for anything else from a local pub. A total gem in the heart of Brighton!
I’ve been to the Hope many, many times - usually for gigs!! Most recently I came down for the jam night (on the last Monday of each month) and was blown away by the talent!! Such a great atmosphere the whole evening. As per usual, quick and friendly service at the bar, and enjoyed spending time in the creatively decorated space downstairs :)
Came here to watch a show, the venue was upstairs and it was so much fun. Staff was great, did not get to try the food but was impressed by it being a plant based bar. Highly recommend for any contemporary types looking for some live music .
The place looks amazing and the food tastes even better! So nice to be able to get so good Vegan grub at a pub and even better that staff are always so lovly and friendly. Took my mum for some lunch a while ago and she was in love with the place. It's my number one place to take mates and family from outside Brighton as they always love it.
Lovely pub not far from the train station. Really cool decor and selection of drinks. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks.
