Unfortunately, this place was a huge disappointment. We visited based on the brilliant ratings and reviews, but should have spotted the red flags straight away. The entrance to their small outdoor seating area was cordoned off with signs warning "if you're in a rush, this isn't the right place for you." After waiting ages to be served, we were finally seated at a corner table. We moved to a nearby table with better shade as it was blazing hot, but the waiter immediately made us return to the original two-person table - right next to a blasting speaker. When we politely asked if the music could be turned down a touch, he rudely refused, saying "this is the vibe of the place." Despite this, we tried to make the best of it and looked at the menu. Within a minute, the same waiter returned, snatched our menus away, and told us he didn't think this was "the right place for us." We were essentially kicked out for absolutely no reason. We’ve never experienced such appalling service. The restaurant wasn't even busy. Completely unacceptable behaviour - avoid at all costs!

THIS PLACE REALLY DESERVES 10 STARS. Before you enter, you’ll notice the place is beautifully decorated, colorful, and welcoming—and it truly is like that. Before we were seated, we had to wait about 3–5 minutes, but it was no problem at all. The staff here are very dedicated; they don’t try to upsell or do aggressive marketing—they just want customers to have the best food experience possible. My friend is gluten-free, and they took great care of this, asking about allergies, which is why the food preparation took quite a while. My friend needed a lot of advice, but the staff patiently explained everything, and we had a really great experience at this place. I ordered the Salmon & Horseradish and Bread, which was quite fitting for the slightly chilly weather. My friend ordered a Taco, which was very large, so it took us quite a while to finish eating. Also, the restrooms are very spacious and clean. We will definitely come back.

Very friendly staff. We sat inside and ordered drinks (yellow smoothie and a margarita) both drinks were delicious, freshly made. We asked if the music could be turned down as I can't cope with that level of noise but staff explained the music couldn't be turned down and luckily it had stopped raining so we sat outside. Totally understand that the music brings a certain vibe to the venue but it would still bring that vibe at a level where you can hear it but also be able to talk comfortably without needing to talk over the music. We ordered coronation chicken sandwich and a cheese toasties, lots of cheese! Both came with salad and were full up with the chicken and cheese. Very impressed with the food and drinks. Good prices for the portions you get. Only didn't give a 5 star as if it was raining we would've had to leave as even the indoor spot that was presented to us after asking if the music could be turned down would still have been too loud and a sensory overload for me and wouldn't want to miss out on the delicious food. Staff were chatty and helpful and we appreciated the effort that went in to making us both comfortable.

When is Eastbourne, this is a bar/restaurant/cocktail bar you must go to . They start serving breakfast in the m orning and they serve drinks and food all day until closing time. We have been amazingly hosted by Fabien and team. Very attentive to details, a lovely and genuine team of people that really enjoy what they do. The food is fantastic! FROM the selection of freshly and genuine made tapas, which you get 3 for the price of £12, to the sharing boards of cheese and cured meat which is of a very good size to share. For drinks there are multiple options of their house wine, home made amazing cocktails, such as sandrias, margaritas... we loved the food and the place so much that we went there 3-4 times in 6 that we spent in Eastbourne! Thank you guys for your welcome and your culinary skills! I ll see you again.

We were staying in the Eastbourne for a few days and this was the first place we found and wow how nice was this place. Very friendly man served us sangria and craft beer with some tasty tapas with great Latin music. Very reasonable price with a great atmosphere.

This place is great. The food was excellent, staff very accommodating. It has a wide variety of dishes which is good for everyone. I tried the beer taster with my meal which was also a nice surprise. Honestly it is nice place to stop and watch the world go by and have some nice food. If you are in Eastbourne and you can get a table I would go for it.
