Been coming here for the past 6 years since it opened. It sells some of the finest beers in Brighton and brews the majority of it themselves. It also stocks a massive selection of Belgium and German bottled beers. All available to take away or drink while in the bar.
Love this place. Ideal stop whilst in the area. Nice English pub feel combined with German authenticity. Small and local feel, board games in the corner, but with the added 'oomf' of German lagers on tap and pleasant seating area on the street if the weather suits. See you again soon.
Straight in straight at home, music great staff great. Suitably dark broody, very Belgian. Cool crowd. Not many places punch you in the ballbag when you walk in, really is a good selection of Belgians in here. Walk up George St nearby for interesting shops if in the area.
Nice and cozy pub with great ambient music and a great selection of beers. Since I was a first time visitor of Brighton, I didn't try the German and Belgian beers that I already knew, but I tried the local, Brighton ones. This is a place that has a partnership with the local brewery, so I tried a couple of local beers which I enjoyed. One great thing to mention would be that me and my wife got to try some of the beers before buying so we made a conscious choice. Enjoy! :)
