βFabulous locally sourced food and wine, great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive serviceβ
βCountry pub vibes with nice atmosphere. Lots of seating inside and out. Food was good but could do with more vegan options. Facilities were good but no hand towels in the bathroom. Staff were good and attentive to the table, I would advise booking, we went on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy at lunch timeβ
βMy friend and I went for Sunday lunch both had roast lamb, and it was delicious. Staff were very attentive. Very busy obviously very popular.β
βStunning cuisine. I'm not a salad lover but Izmir Bar and Grill have absolutely nailed it! It was a friend's birthday and already from the starter, we knew we had winning meals. The dessert was exquisite. Most impressive was the portion sizes. Not too much or too little - but just right! East Street restaurants be careful. Izmir Bar and Grill is leagues ahead β€ Special mention to our lovely waitress Jasmine. Thank you and Management for a delightful lunch out.β
βWe visited Bella Italia on a Friday evening a couple of weeks ago. Food was great the staff were really friendly, really grateful for them for accommodating us at short notice.β
βWe had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.β
βAbsolutely love Crowns pub, so cute inside! All the staff are super respectful and absolutely lovely, pints are decently priced for Brighton, the quiz nights are fab and the live music and day to day music is top tier! Fab pub in Brighton, highly recommend!β
βI had a wonderful experience at Social Board Brighton. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and the fast, friendly service made everything even better. We were lucky to be served by the owner himself, which added a special touch to our visit. The atmosphere is warm and welcomingβyou truly feel at home! Congratulations to the chefs for the excellent food and the aromatic, flavorful coffee. Highly recommended!β
βGreat service, Atmosphere and the food was amazing. Would definitely go again!β
βHad new year in Maggie maes, very busy, had great music all night, good service, got to fight your way to the loos, as other side of dance floor, but brilliant night we all loved it, plenty on all year so look up and go for good night out. Don't know about food,β
βThe taster menu was absolutely gorgeous, and the wine pairing perfect. All meat was beautifully cooked, especially the pork belly. Post House Brighton is the perfect spot for a cosy date night or somewhere impressive to bring someone visiting.β
βUpdated: 12/07/2023 5th time visiting this restraunt since my initial review. The steak on black rock was divine, much better then most of the other local establishments. Michael made our visit special and engadged with my 3 year old neice making her visit fun. Overall the escape bar I would rate higher then 5 stars if I couldβ
βLovely staff and owner, great layout. Proper old boozer but not awkward like some are nowadays (as a young person!) Fireplace, dogs, good Guinness, what else could you ask for.β
βWe visited for a hen do on the weekend. I had been messaging directly with the venue a few weeks before. Very helpful and responsive. Went to see the act Cherrybomb, who was brilliant. There was 16 of us in our group of all ages and everyone loved the show. They had reserved appropriate amount of space for our group. All up dancing and having a laugh. The entire team at Affinity were so nice and accommodating. Would recommend in a heart beat. My 76 year old mum loved it that much, she asked if we can go again and we pretty much had to drag her out at the end of the night for our ride home :-) bless her. Thanks again for the evening xxβ
βGreat location, even better atmosphere and the staff are nothing but friendly and professional. Wicked night out!!β
βDon't try the bolognese and the burgers but instead try the fries (all the varieties). Good prices on the beer and good vibes over weekend. The karokey nights are really fun.β
βCocktails! This is the place you must go for a cocktail. Iβm sure youβll be a usual customer after that. The staff is always smiling and making sure everything is okay. There is a live music upstairs. Also, they have a club downstairs usually open on Fridays&Saturdays. I have been to many clubs in Brighton. I should say Antidote was a different experience. The first thing you realise is this place is very clean! We all know how bad it could be when you go to club and see a dirty toilet or a bar. I see staff is making sure everywhere is clean and theyβre checking during the night. Lastly, donβt miss their Afrobeats night!!!β
βVisited today for a drink on our first ever trip to this town. The landlord and landlady were so welcoming providing us with a map and showing us various places thank youβ
βFabulous dinner, Meat Borad, Olive Christini's and Naughty Chips. Fantastic atmosphere, lovely cold beers, the staff were excellent, attentive, and friendly as always. Highly recommend!!β
βLovely chilled pub. Plenty of seating, friendly staff and great for chatting- you can hear each other! Also had possibly the best mince pie of my life here..β
βVery cosy pub! The chefs make the best, crispiest chicken wings, the drink selection is amazing, the barrista makes the fanciest cup of coffee, and the atmosphere is great. Lots of seats. Smoking spots out front and in the back.β
βSunday roasts are one of the best in Brighton and Hove hands down. 7 options including veggie & vegan plus kid options. Great selection of puddings too. Kid and dog friendly. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I couldn't recommend this pub more.β
βEasily the best steak I've had in a long long time. Lovely place, staff welcoming and helpful, bar staff chatty. Chatted to the owner who couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. Cocktail delicious and freshly made. Prices very reasonable, can't wait to go back.β
βAmazing place! We arrived late on a random Wednesday evening with our kids and the staff were so friendly, gave us extras and just generally were awesome lovely people. We are eating our fish & chips on the beach right now as I type this, and the whole family agree it is delicious! Highly recommend : )β
βI love this place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I like taking my coffee sitting outside. Actually I find its interior very inspiring and peaceful.β
βMy girlfriend and I came here a few weeks ago for a Sunday Roast. Excellent service despite being a member of staff short due to a broken glasswasher. Food was even betterβ
βI have put five stars for food because all round the place is great very welcoming very diverse doesn't matter who you are you can just sit at a table if you come in on your own and people will talk to you you can get up and sing the atmosphere is really good I can never fault it Skye behind the jump she's straight has all of the people behind there you cannot walk in there and feel that you're on your own even if you're shy make this your first place to go xxxxxβ
βBrighton Beach is a lively seaside spot full of energy and charm. The pebble shore, colorful promenade, and iconic pier make it a fun place to relax, eat, and explore. It can get crowded in summer, but the atmosphere is always vibrant.β
βGreat carols night at the Joker. Food was excellent as always and it was massively Christmassy. Excellent job choir and Joker crew.β
