“Country pub vibes with nice atmosphere. Lots of seating inside and out. Food was good but could do with more vegan options. Facilities were good but no hand towels in the bathroom. Staff were good and attentive to the table, I would advise booking, we went on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy at lunch time”

“My friend and I went for Sunday lunch both had roast lamb, and it was delicious. Staff were very attentive. Very busy obviously very popular.”

“Stunning cuisine. I'm not a salad lover but Izmir Bar and Grill have absolutely nailed it! It was a friend's birthday and already from the starter, we knew we had winning meals. The dessert was exquisite. Most impressive was the portion sizes. Not too much or too little - but just right! East Street restaurants be careful. Izmir Bar and Grill is leagues ahead ❤ Special mention to our lovely waitress Jasmine. Thank you and Management for a delightful lunch out.”

“We had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.”

“Absolutely love Crowns pub, so cute inside! All the staff are super respectful and absolutely lovely, pints are decently priced for Brighton, the quiz nights are fab and the live music and day to day music is top tier! Fab pub in Brighton, highly recommend!”

“I had a wonderful experience at Social Board Brighton. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and the fast, friendly service made everything even better. We were lucky to be served by the owner himself, which added a special touch to our visit. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—you truly feel at home! “The taster menu was absolutely gorgeous, and the wine pairing perfect. All meat was beautifully cooked, especially the pork belly. Post House Brighton is the perfect spot for a cosy date night or somewhere impressive to bring someone visiting.”

“Updated: 12/07/2023 5th time visiting this restraunt since my initial review. The steak on black rock was divine, much better then most of the other local establishments. Michael made our visit special and engadged with my 3 year old neice making her visit fun. Overall the escape bar I would rate higher then 5 stars if I could”

“Lovely staff and owner, great layout. Proper old boozer but not awkward like some are nowadays (as a young person!) Fireplace, dogs, good Guinness, what else could you ask for.”

“We visited for a hen do on the weekend. I had been messaging directly with the venue a few weeks before. Very helpful and responsive. Went to see the act Cherrybomb, who was brilliant. There was 16 of us in our group of all ages and everyone loved the show. They had reserved appropriate amount of space for our group. All up dancing and having a laugh. The entire team at Affinity were so nice and accommodating. Would recommend in a heart beat. My 76 year old mum loved it that much, she asked if we can go again and we pretty much had to drag her out at the end of the night for our ride home :-) bless her. Thanks again for the evening xx”

“Cocktails! This is the place you must go for a cocktail. I’m sure you’ll be a usual customer after that. The staff is always smiling and making sure everything is okay. There is a live music upstairs. Also, they have a club downstairs usually open on Fridays&Saturdays. I have been to many clubs in Brighton. I should say Antidote was a different experience. The first thing you realise is this place is very clean! We all know how bad it could be when you go to club and see a dirty toilet or a bar. I see staff is making sure everywhere is clean and they’re checking during the night. Lastly, don’t miss their Afrobeats night!!!”
