My friend and I went for Sunday lunch both had roast lamb, and it was delicious. Staff were very attentive. Very busy obviously very popular.

The staff were lovely and really helpful and professional. But the food took ages to come due to the promotion and the house red we got given was different to the house red on the wine list and a lot worse so a little disappointed. The food was actually very good but the owner should hire another chef to help with the work load as we waited almost an hour. Would still come back

The room was great for the price. Tea , coffee and biscuits all provided. The service was excellent especially has they were serving their renowned Sunday Lunch at the time of our arrival. The pub has a great vibe although our room number 1 was quite and we heard no noise.

Had a Sunday lunch here today and it was great! We all had the pork belly with a side of cauliflower cheese and would recommend both. All the veg cooked well and plenty of gravy. Just what you want in a roast!

Visited here Boxing Day and New Years Day...welcome very inviting...just had drinks first time however today had food as well...we had forgotten what day it was so thought we would have a burger...doh...it was Sunday...the lovely lady that was serving food suggested having a few side dishes... rather than a full roast..amazing....had chicken and cheese croquettes....the most amazing broccoli and cauliflower cheese with pigs in blankets...a proper full size wild boar sausage with bacon x3...I have had the first festive dinner today....thanks all...sorry no photos...fully focused on food and drink. Testament to the pub...it was so busy...to me a good sign in these difficult times....

Had a roast here on Sunday and it was fantastic. The staff were very accommodating in the run up even though our group size was very large and numbers kept going up and down. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly, a really fun atmosphere in the pub too highly recommended!

Great pub and location for access to the beach or train stations. Great range of beers and fabulous menu. The Tuscan seafood stew is amazing. Room small but cosy with everything you need. Beats any chain hotel! Would certainly use again if in the area.

The room was small but clean. The bed was comfy. The staff were really friendly and the food in the pub was lovely Only couple of issues:- 1) the sink tap in the shower room was just trickling out. 2) the stairwell and outer corridor was rather slippery (I was told about this, thankfully) 3) No Tea Bags
