Whilst staying at Malmaison which is opposite to this lovely authentic Italian restaurant I ate here two days on the trot. A very warm welcome from the staff who are all Italian, the food is fantastic and the portions are huge. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the marina or who live locally if you’re looking for freshly prepared food in a restaurant with a buzzing atmosphere where you will be very well looked after.

We visited Bella Italia on a Friday evening a couple of weeks ago. Food was great the staff were really friendly, really grateful for them for accommodating us at short notice.

We visited yesterday and had a wonderful time! We ordered the spaghetti carbonara, a calzone, and two mocktails—everything was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. When we asked for a less spicy calzone, they immediately replaced it with a smile, which we truly appreciated. A lovely experience overall!

I was going to the theatre, so stopped for something to eat. The staff were excellent, very attentive, but not over the top. Great menu covering pizza and pasta. I wanted pasta, but I love pizza and wasn't disappointed. Light base and packed with flavour. Highly recommend.

We were served by the server Chloe and she was absolutely amazing incredibly attentive and very lovely. Food was amazing loved the starter was nicest I’ve had. Reasonably priced with student pricing being an option is great. Vegan options are plenty and as labelled there is no question. Place was clean and had a good atmosphere. Would go again

A steep price for just alright food. I had the gin fizz which was my favorite part of the meal. The food itself was kind of bland, especially the calamari. The truffle pizza beefy something acidic to break up all the heavier cream flavors (chili oil or lemon or something). The service was kind and the space was a bit cramped

Very beautiful, I went there for my birthday! Bella Itália is always a good choice, the staff were very friendly. We had one problem with a voucher code that wasn’t working but we tried it an alternative way, so possibly ask before seating if you have one.

It was a cool evening and we opted to sit outside. It was alright until it rained later and it got colder. Fortunately, we had reached the dessert stage by then. We ordered the 2-set meal for two people, at @18 GBP each. The tomato brushetta was just okay. The mains were much better. I liked the pepperoni pizza, which was done very nicely. The missus also enjoyed her lagsane. The tiramisu was average. Service was friendly and quite quick even for us sitting outside. The meal for two, plus a coke, came up to 40GBP.

We popped in on Sunday 6th Feb at about 4pm. Polite staff and very clean restaurant. We had a mojito cocktail, bottle of red wine, 2 starters and 2 mains. All in £63. Monika was our waitress and she was very very good. The food was hot and delicious. The restaurant had a constant stream of delivery drivers collecting orders as well as customers coming to eat in and at no stage was there any sign of panic or a drop in the level of service. Thank you Monica it was lovely.
