   We’ve just had our wedding reception at the Garden Bar and couldn’t have had a better experience from start to finish!! Charlotte is the best events manager, very attentive and made sure every detail was perfect and just the way we wanted it. She’s also the sweetest person and has become a friend to us. The food was incredible, the staff amazing and just overall such a blast. We couldn’t recommend them enough for an event, or just the atmosphere if you want a cute pub!

   Much better than three years ago. Nice friendly staff good beers and a really great roast dinner. A chef who cares about giving customers food that he would want to be served if he was a customer in a restaurant. Top marks chef and a warm and welcoming atmosphere definitely helped to enjoy the whole experience.

   Sunday roasts are one of the best in Brighton and Hove hands down. 7 options including veggie & vegan plus kid options. Great selection of puddings too. Kid and dog friendly. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I couldn't recommend this pub more.

   We celebrated our wedding reception here and everything was perfect! Annamari, Charlotte and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and nice during the whole process and on the special day. Food was delicious- we loved the canapes and everything they prepared for us. The garden was very pretty and comfortable, with many different spaces to enjoy throughout the day. We can’t recommend this place to celebrate a wedding reception or a special gathering enough. Thank you so much again to the whole team at the Garden Bar.

   I attended a gathering here and I must say I liked the vibe, the staff and the food as well. The only thing I would moan a bit is the temperature. I found it a bit chilly, toilets are freezing too. Fireplace on would have been lovely on that cold, miserable winter day. I enjoyed my chicken roast. Toffee sticky pudding was lovely. Mozart chocolate shot is great and I tried peanut butter whiskey shot too! Really unique.

   We held our wedding reception at The Garden Bar in November 2022 and had a fantastic night! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly - and were on hand throughout the planning process to answer any questions. The food was excellent and the place looked beautiful. The bar staff were helpful and friendly, and our guests had a lovely time. We couldn't recommend The Garden Bar enough as a wedding venue! Excellent value too, when compared to some of the other venues we looked at.

   We had our wedding reception here just a few days ago and we were over the moon with everything the team put together for us. From first enquiry to last orders the experience help and support has been outstanding. The help to decorate the gardens and venue, the amazing vegan food that all our guests said was the best wedding food they had ever had, and the attentive service from the whole team through the day. Honestly we were overwhelmed with just how this lovely pub was transformed to a beautiful wedding venue - we could not recommend The Garden Bar more highly if you want to have simply the most fabulous place to host a wedding or party. Thanks to everyone there for making our most memorable day so special x

   Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Garden Bar. We didn't have a reservation but they managed to find space for us as a walk in and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Very attentive to make sure we ordered and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!
