   I Love Persian food. We tried Persian palace in Reading 1st time. We love the food and atmosphere. Staff was really nice and kind. Outside riverside view is so beautiful. Kids love to watch ducks and bots. Wee haven't tried the shesha bar downstairs yet. We definitely go again as this is one of our favourite place with favourite food.

   The service was excellent, and the restaurant’s location and view were absolutely stunning. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The portion sizes were very large, and unfortunately, no one mentioned that my order was enough for two people rather than just one. The chicken was absolutely delicious, while the beef was decent but not exceptional. The saffron rice was very tasty, and the salad was standard. The prices are a little high, but they are reasonable considering the quality of service and the restaurant’s beautiful location.

   Nice atmosphete but too much salad and less meat / chicken in a single plate . We ordered a different platter as welll from menu but that too had same issue. The main reason i am revewing is that the prices are not justified / acceptable with the quantity.

   I thoroughly enjoyed my latest experience at the Persian Palace. Never been there before but it was on my list for some time now. There is another one in London for 15 years now. This one in Reading is fairly new with almost a year under it's belt. You have a lovely view of the river from most of the tables inside.The service was very fast, drinks coming almost instantly and the food soon after. We tried the lamb chop, the house special and it didn't disappoint.Cooked to perfection, meat just melted off the bone. It was delicious but the size was too big, I couldn't finish the entire dish. A great experience. Thanks

   Delicious food with nice views! It was our first ever visit to this restaurant recommended by a Persian colleague. Prices were high but portion size was huge per person. Starters were tasty with fresh tandoori naan. Baklava wasn't good, too dry and not upto the flavours.

   Food was delicious. Will go back again. Portions are pretty big so if you have a big appetite this is a great place to go. The restaurant was quiet around 1800 but nearly full at 2000. It had a great atmosphere I felt I was holiday! Good for large parties as you can try lots of dishes as it seems sharing would be ideal. So it would be good if you could order small plates to try lots of the different styles. We started with the aubergine and chicken dishes both were excellent. Followed by a main with chicken and lamb skewers with rice. We were so full by this time we didn't get to try the puddings. Will go again and try more of the menu!
