Went to the Coach House for the first time today for breakfast. Fantastic experience! Service was extremely attentive and thoughtful. I went with my partner and daughter, and one of the staff members kindly offered to make my little one a ‘babyccino’. She didn’t have to do that, and we were very appreciative. Food was amazing, can tell it is freshly cooked. Coffees were 10/10. We will definitely be back to try their lunch menu.

Not the greatest of experiences. We keep driving past the cafe and always wanted to stop and have a look. Today we walked to the cafe and it was a big disappointment. We walked in and the atmosphere was good. Cakes are all in a lovely display cabinet. Staff were busy so we were working out if you order at till or sit at a table. They took our order but being 2pm, no Buddha bowl. We opted for a ploughman’s to share. £9.95 for the ploughman’s, can of Coke and water. Total was £19.95 for both of us. Sat outside as it was still lovely and sunny. We waited for a fair while but soon were put off by one of the workers clearing and folding tables to be put away. This was 2:20pm. They close at 3pm! Why did we have to eat with someone sweeping the ground? Not the best. We ordered a Tiffen and Dorset apple cake to take away. The apple cake slice was tiny and we paid £4.50 for it. We alerted the staff but they didn’t do anything to help our complaint. Ploughman’s arrived. It’s just simple. Boiled ham which tasted like it’s come out of a packet, some Brie and cheddar, bread, salad along with butter, pickled onions and pickle. Both of us were very hungry and the food didn’t last long on the plate. Not the best experience and probably first impressions are often wrong but this put us off from coming back.

* dog friendly * Recommended by loads of people on the local FB page, I just had to visit. Glad we did! We just had a lovely breakfast, as good as any high street establishment. Actually, the hashbrowns were particularly lovely. Great quality toast and eggs. They brought out a bowl of water for Toby and put his egg in a separate dish. Would have liked 2 bacon's but I'll just order more next time. Great value at £8.25. See you next Saturday.

Lovely little cafe with a good selection of hot and cold food and homemade cakes. It's small but perfectly formed with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and helpful and the cakes are delicious.

Had a wonderful cooked breakfast here. Very good poached eggs. Black pudding available as an extra. Perfectly cooked mushrooms and tomatoes on the side Nice decor and friendly staff. I want to return to try the baked potatoes. I could see a King Edward potato oven in the corner. Vegan breakfast also available. Highly recommended
