Not bad coffee, but something needs to be done about the air con. Visited in September 24. It was 19 degrees outside and 15 degrees inside. My wife had to go to the car for an extra coat. The barista refused to turn off the air con because the sandwiches and cakes need to be kept cool!! We decided to give it another try today. A cold day and again the air con had to be running, apparently because the food chillers punch out so much heat. All other customers had coats on. At least this time the lady in charge turned it off while we drank our coffees. Since our previous visit it has been given a drab makeover which contributes to the rather miserable atmosphere and not helped by most of the staff who seem to have the weight of the world on their shoulders. No wonder Costa are losing their loyal customer base.

Really dirty tables customers were cleaning own tables dirty cups everywhere. Staff hardly ever smile ,counter wet could do with clean. People been complaining for years it's a wonder it will closed down one day.

I like to give credit where due, majority of cases review only when at the two extremes, positive and negative. Possibly one of the messiest and unclean Costa I’ve been to outside of central London. The staff need a serious “cheer up” conversation by some sort of management, there don’t seem to be any present . A smile, simple and genuine acknowledgment of a customer waiting with a “hello” and “sorry to keep you” would go a huge way for customers to feel appreciated especially with eye contact. Costa charging just short of £10 for the drink and wrap could be ignored if the experience had been on point.

The coffee is as expected from a large chain. Costa is my coffee shop of choice and this one suits my journey some days. The staff here are very helpful and the guest areas are always clean and comfortable.

Nice coffee, very stuffy inside, the windows are dripping with condensation

Friendly staff, coffee is always great and there is ample seating. Not too noisy so great for meeting friends or getting some work done.

How disappointing they are short staffed and on one of the hotest days decided to stop all icee drinks as they only had half an hour left to work. They were polite but when half the drink menu is stopped on such a hot day... Very disappointed

No kindness here. I cycled an hour especially to buy a coffee from this store. I walked in when my (correct) Apple Watch said it was 16:00. I was curtly told that the shop was closed - with no exception for me obviously. The annoying thing was that they were still preparing a drink for another customer who ordered when I arrived. What a disasterous example of customer non-service. Jeff
