Had a latte and the coffee strudel cake - my word!! One of the best made coffees I have ever had. Not over compressed , milk not burning hot - just perfect!! The strudel was absolutely delicious. The venue is loads of fun with an avenue of classic cars / hotrods and motorcycles just nearby for some good eye candy!! An amazing gem of a place!!

First time in Yellow Bourbon after a recommendation. Beautiful atmosphere and coffee very well done. I'll be grabbing a kilo of bean on the way out

Visited around 2pm on Thursday. I ordered an iced Americano and was very pleased with it - especially as the staff prepared my drink so quickly! It's a lovely little coffee shop with great taste in music and cool decor. I really enjoyed visiting and would definitely recommend.

Honestly just my favourite coffee spot. Staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. I come every Saturday morning to read my book and it’s always a nice chilled vibe, the coffee is the best I’ve had. My only complaint is there isn’t more YB shops because nothing else competes

Came here after reading the reviews, but left disappointed! The coffee was average, and when I took my laptop out—still folded—the staff quickly and without hesitation told me laptops weren’t allowed, quite rudely. The place was nearly empty, as you can see in the photo. I won’t be coming back. Maybe the coffee was better than I remember, but the unwelcoming service overshadowed everything.

Great Coffee, undoubtedly the best in Northampton. "No laptops policy," is a bit odd, I get the mantra of wanting to be a social space & i'm happy to oblige by it if that's what they want, but it's just a shame that i'll only be in there for a takeaway from now on. I was conducting a quick catch up meeting with one of my team (we're all based out in the field and need places to meet up before spending a day in meetings together) and was told to put my laptop away, doesn't exactly come across as welcoming & it's not like I was in there for hours freeloading off the wifi as there isn't any! Business must be doing okay if they can afford to alienate so many possible customers. Would much rather support a local business than Costa etc. but simply not possible. A shame.

My favourite coffee in Europe. Seriously. YB is exceptional. I buy all my beans from them and I've never been disappointed. The staff are unfailingly excellent... I love that Steve takes the time to invest and develop his team. It's a shame they no longer roast in this location because the smell is incredible, but I appreciate the seating area upstairs. It's a brave move to ban laptops but I think it's a good idea because it adds to the social vibe. Still, they don't mind me scribbling away in a notepad while sipping a flat white, so I'm happy :).

It’s a small but very cozy place. Enjoyable home-like atmosphere that helps to start your morning right! Coffee is simply delicious. Highly recommend giving it a try

Nice coffee as usual. Place empty at 1500 on a Monday probably due to sun out. Trying to email an urgent document to someone and staff member came up and said ‘no laptops allowed! - it’s a social space’ curtly. It might be difficult to socialise with an empty coffee shop. “Can I read a book then?” “Sure”. Ironically, reading a book isn’t sociable either - very strange orders and rules from a coffee shop. Also no rules on the walls either upstairs saying ‘no laptops’. . Won’t be back with a business attitude like that - I would have thought businesses after lockdown would want customers.

Not a coffee connoisseur at all ,but can tell it’s a good coffee by how many people are in/out of the shop, considering it’s in a tiny back street. The pain au chocolat paistery was one of the best I’ve had. Very small shop with currently no sitting inside, although there were a couple of benches to sit outside in nice weather.
