I just wanted to say a huge thank you for hosting our referral afternoon tea yesterday. The food was absolutely amazing! so fresh, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and your team were so friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and commented on how nice the whole experience was. Several people even said they’ll be coming back on their own because they enjoyed it so much!

Brilliant food, the baristas there are lovely- and the food and drinks are delicious. You get exactly what you order and it's all delicious! They have beautiful christmas decorations and plenty of space. It's also accessible and dog friendly.

We have been frequenting Wistow for years now. We always liked it for its charming atmosphere and the fact it got us out of the city without having to travel too far to get there. Today we came in to order 4 Wistow Big Breakfasts. We were in the queue ahead of the cut off time. Unfortunately, people ordering ahead of us had not yet decided what they wanted from the menu, which meant we were queuing beyond their 11:45am cut-off for breakfast. They refused to take our breakfast order despite us having been in the queue waiting for 10 minutes. If we had not been queueing within the cut-off time, I would have said “fair enough”. Honestly, a huge disappointment at your lack of leniency on this for long-time repeat customers. Especially as you had pretty much trapped us into staying by taking our drinks order earlier on (ahead of cut-off time might I add). This is a terrible strategy, as we then had to pay for drinks we no longer wanted because breakfast food was no longer being served. You guys really need to consider this in future and perhaps have a person taking breakfast orders for anybody in the queue close to cut-off that are then put through the till as a priority.

I love a cheese and ham toastie so was my first choice today and it was amazing — really generous filling, came with crisps and a fresh side salad. The staff were lovely and so welcoming. Definitely coming back!!

Gluten free huge disappointment I’m sorry but when you charge exactly the same for both of these plates I would have at least expected a little more smoked salmon on the gluten free bun. Could barely taste due to the amount of bread. Also presentation, what a difference if you’d just have made open ‘sandwich’ type with the bun. Sorry but I know prices of gluten free bread and smoked salmon and this does not equate to equal value for money and appearance was nothing, top was on bun when it arrived. Even just opening it I did for this picture made itvloook more presentable. . Feel you let yourself down with this one. Rest of the groups meals looked lovely.

I came for Afternoon tea with my mum for mother's day yesterday. What an absolute treat! Food was wonderful, just the right amount for afternoon tea. The cakes were delicious! Staff were great, very polite and checked on us regularly. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt well looked after and well treated! Thank you Wistow! We will be back x

Have just enjoyed the most delicious festive afternoon tea at this wonderful place with my family. We had both the standard and vegan options of this lovely treat and both were superb! Would highly recommend. Attentive, friendly, helpful staff. Best way to start Christmas! Happy Christmas and many thanks to all the staff at Wistow.
