We had a fantastic leisurely lunch at Mortons, soaking up the sunshine in the courtyard. I had the grilled steak (pictured) - beautifully cooked and full of smoky, chargrilled flavour, paired perfectly with vibrant accompaniments. My wife chose the chicken skewers, which were just as impressive - juicy, well-seasoned, and delicious. A relaxed setting, friendly service, and outstanding food made for a perfect lunchtime treat. Highly recommend!

What an amazing little place! Came for lunch and the food is really tasty, served hot and with a smile. Stay all very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Fab outside area too. You won't be disappointed

We had the bbq evening - which was so lovely! It was amazing to be outside in the nice weather, enjoying great food and drinks. This place really is a little gem. Like the fact that the meals come with sides included - making it much better value. Puddings were stunning!!!

We’ve visited Morton’s around 3 or 4 times now and have enjoyed every visit. The food is always beautifully presented and delicious too. They’ve struck the perfect balance between a little fine dining yet still traditional and a good portion size. The staff are really friendly and regularly check in during your meal to make sure you’re happy which I always appreciate. We will be back!

We went here on a Wednesday morning in April. The eating area was clean and decorated well and had a great theme contributing to the great atmosphere here. I had a full English breakfast which was made with good quality food. The only criticism would be the beans with my full English as they were not traditional and they were home made with spice in them. They would have been great with a lunch or main meal, but I didn't think they went well with breakfast. Saying that the quality of the food was good and everything was cooked to perfection. My wife has scrabled eggs on toast and she said it was the best scrambled egg she has ever had. It had poppy seeds in it which she absolutely loved and wants to attempt to replicate at home. We will definitely be going back here to try an evening meal. The outside wooden pods look great and outdoor seating area looks great for the summer. Definitely a place to keep going back to. There is also a function room that can be hired out here, looks good for a small gathering of around 20 people or so, maybe a birthday party/meal or a work meal out.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were greeted at the door by the friendly waiting staff and shown to a table. After a short time, we had our drinks orders taken and not long after our food order. My cappuccino was large, hot, and tasted delicious. We weren't waiting long before being served some delicious breakfast that looked and smelt amazing. I treated myself to a Mortons Grill breakfast. I wasn't disappointed. The sausages were perfectly cooked, and the smoked bacon was delicious. Just having a small piece of bacon accompanying little pieces of each of the foods really gave a punch of flavour. The potato rosti was crisp and hot, and I could have eaten 2 of them easily. My only criticism would be that one of the eggs had a little bit of uncooked egg white but not enough to make a fuss over. I just put it to one side. I find that flipping an egg for a few seconds or using a small torch ensures that the top of the egg is all cooked and the yolk remains runny. I didn't really care for the Picanta Beans. With such a well-made and flavour filled breakfast, it only requires good quality baked beans to finish it off of a popular brand. Keep the beans simple. Overall, it was a really enjoyable breakfast, and I would love to return to try other meals. My friends had poached eggs, hollandaise, and smoked salmon, and all dishes were complimented on by everyone. The waiting staff were attentive and popped over to check that we were happy with our food not long after serving. Thank you.

First time at Morton's Bistro after wanting to come for a while but have been put off as you can't book a table Worth the wait! Great food and very nice and attentive waiting staff We opted for 3 X Morton's Grill and an Avocado with bacon. Really nicely presented and everything tasted nice £14 for the full English which seems crazy but the going rate these days. The smashed avocado is nice but quite heavily salted Only slight complaint is that the cappuccino isn't a cappuccino, it tastes nice but it's a latte. Presented as a cappuccino with chocolate on the top but lacked the mechanics of a cappuccino The restaurant is lovely and the toilets are very plush! We shall definitely be returning

Really enjoyed my lunch here. Had a salad like they should be but rarely are - interesting & full of yummy flavours. The sweet potato fries I didnt really need but fancied were absolutely perfect! Definitely coming back for another visit!

Morton's Bistro is able to delivery the sort of experience that many can only dream of. The bar is now very high. Beautifuly finished interior's and a roaring fire greet you as you arrive. A very well balanced menu which is also extremely good value offers lots to tempt you. We had Breakfast Tea for one, a Cappuccino with Oat Milk served a stack of pancakes with maple syrup & Bacon and Mango & Coconut Granola. Served beautifully, perfect portion control and also change from £20. We are already planning our next visit. A hidden gem.

My first visit to Mortons Bistro, but it won't be my last! I'd heard good things about this place, so pleased to say the bistro lived up to the hype. Very tasty food, great artisan coffee and friendly, welcoming staff. Couldn't ask for more! Highly recommend the Mortons Grill and their scrambled eggs on sourdough for brunch. Delicious. Might be nice if the menu was a bit more extensive, but given the times we are in, it's understandable. What they do, they do very well.
