   Very outdated decor and bathroom still like in 70ties. Felt welcomed by staff but they where clearly surprised to see new customers on arrival. Ordered mix grill for 2 as a starter £9.75, very small portion surprisingly, As a main ordered Butter chicken and prawn jalfrezi. Both sent back to kitchen as prawns were so overcooked and butter chicken was off date . Meanwhile when waiting for food to be changed waiter came to tell us its not the food what was bad but our taste that restaurant cooks in this way for years and proudly mentioned that some dishes haven't been changed recipes for 40 years . He called us that we are being picky, waiter showed with finger to table behind him saying those people come for years and never complain. Clearly restaurant couldn't accept any criticism as everyone stubborn on their presence. I did mention that I've tasted butter chicken for years and the chicken needed changing. Both dishes came back tasting totally different with a great improvement, prawns looked like prawns and fresh tasting chicken. Would I recommend, maybe for locals, but personally I wouldn't return. Also just to mention my partner took 2 days off work after that meal.

   Excellent Authentic Indian restaurant. Traditional style of cooking with quality service. Grilled food here is also done superbly. Curry dishes are light and were made hot accordingly to requests. Easy to miss given its locale and size but absolutely one to experience if you get the chance.

   One of the best curry houses in Leicester and I say this having eaten at various restaurants around the city. I do eat at restaurants every week and always try new ones. I don't rate them 5 stars simply because I also like to eat in fancy places. Nothing wrong with the venue at all, just a personal preference.
