He made great recommendations and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. The mixed grill was a highlight – perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection – and the mezes were fresh and full of flavour. Don’t miss the baklava at the end – it’s the perfect sweet finish, especially with a cup of Turkish tea. All in all, a brilliant evening with delicious food and excellent service. “Checked out Ceders, the Lebanese spot, and it’s quite the experience. They’ve got a mix of hard and soft drinks to choose from, hitting the spot. Now, fair warning, the bathrooms need a bit of extra care in the cleanliness department. Let’s dive into the good stuff – their chicken is a taste bud triumph, truly delicious. The hummus and falafel also hold their own in the flavor game. Downstairs has a few tables, but the real vibe is upstairs, creating a cozy atmosphere. Props to them for serving water in fancy bottles, adding a touch of class. Despite the bathroom situation, Ceders delivers a savory Lebanese feast with a charming ambiance.”

“All food we ordered were delicious. The lamb curry Nihari and chicken Karahi with pilau rice were all spot on in taste and hotness. We ordered 3 milkshakes of different flavours and a mojito and they were well mixed, well tried recipe. The price was of good value, very quiet on Sat 4pm for weary travellers like us. The place is certifield halal in monthly basis by HMC so that provides well assurance. We were attended nicely by staff, but parking was tricky, must find one on sideroad, but I definitely will comeback next time in Leics”

“Tasty Kerala dishes. Ordered several dishes and all are delicious and come with good quantity. Price are very affordable for all foods that ordered. Atmosphere is good as this restaurant is in basement and some issues with mouldy smell from carpet due to rain water. But they are maintaining well to clear it. Very friendly and hardworking staff.”

“Overall it is a great restaurant with great food quality & taste and excellent customer service. The Salmon was excellent. It tasted amazing with the potatoes and brocoli. The Chocolate and Truffle Torte tasted great, it had a nice and thick chocolate texture. The only thing I didn't like was the sauce underneath it.”

“We have been eating at Fes Magal for the longest time and it’s been consistently good. Never had any issues with the food or staff. This time round we had Osman taking our order. Osman was really funny and made us all laugh. Excellent customer service. The complimentary starters (fresh bread and sauces) are so yummy. For mains we had Siagara Boregi, Lamb Beyti with chips and salad, Spicy Chicken Sheesh and Chicken Beyti. Everything was freshly made to order, bursting with flavour and absolutely delicious. If you get the opportunity please do drop in as it’s not to be missed.”

“I’ve been to Nazar Barbecue a few times over the years, and it has definitely changed since I last visited. The food is still tasty and full of flavour, and you can’t go wrong if you love Turkish style barbecue. The atmosphere is still nice and the staff are friendly too. Howeve I did notice the portions aren’t as generous as they used to be. A few years ago you would get a lot more for the price so it was a little disappointing to see the servings smaller this time around. Still a nice place to eat, but I definitely miss the bigger portions they used to offer.”

“Definitely the finest and most value money Turkish restaurant in the city. The food is fresh, the service is personal and the correct balance of spices and other ingredients. Bring your own alcohol too! Highly recommend the chicken beyti meal or the chicken sarma beyti. You won't be disappointed whether it's a take away or sit in meal. Also wonderful for young children.”

It's a little tucked away, but do try it, you won't be disappointed! We has some spicy chicken wings, a prawn and saag, a chicken tikka, a dhaal, some naans and masala chai. They have a massive variety of goods available. The interior is very well presented with ample seating. Would definitely recommend this place, they've got so much options they're sure to have something that you'll like. ≠=============================== Update: I've been here for breakfast on 2 separate occasions and I had their egg muffin with a cappuccino. The egg muffin was amazing... The hash brown that they use is quite big so is substantial and filling the best bit is that they top the hash brown with a fried egg... If you're lucky and the yolk is soft it'll bust and give the egg muffin yolky luxurious goodness! Highly recommend this you won't be disappointed. I saw others that ordered an English breakfast and it looked really nice. That's on my list too try next I think!”

“Visited just before Christmas and have remembered the cafe being open for years (or as long as I can remember) and service has always been excellent. The staff on shift were so lovely and helpful, brought our food and drinks over to the table in good time and atmosphere is lovely, everyone tends to keep to themselves but makes it nice for being able to have a catchup without everyone hearing your conversations. Gets full really quickly and it's no surprise - priced very reasonably and food is of good quality. No time limit on how long you can stay for either.”

The food was very delicious the meat and chicken were cooked perfectly. After we were done we were given complimentary tea and desert. The facilities are really good, there is a prayer room and toilets which are very clean and they even have free sanitary products for women! Absolutely great experience and would 100% visit again,”

Juicy meats and refreshing salad inside the wrap I had. Me and my friend shared the chips as the portion is very generous. Have already recommended to a mate too!”
