   I’ve been to Nazar Barbecue a few times over the years, and it has definitely changed since I last visited. The food is still tasty and full of flavour, and you can’t go wrong if you love Turkish style barbecue. The atmosphere is still nice and the staff are friendly too. Howeve I did notice the portions aren’t as generous as they used to be. A few years ago you would get a lot more for the price so it was a little disappointing to see the servings smaller this time around. Still a nice place to eat, but I definitely miss the bigger portions they used to offer.

   I must say I had quite high expectations after reading the various 5 star reviews. But I am very disappointed at the food and the quantity. Firstly the menu photos advertised for the family platter is cheaper than the actual price. The price for the family platter was £50, and the pictures show prices under £40. And for the price of £50 we got one plate of food and some chips with a side of salad which was quite disappointing. For that price and the quantity, you would think that the flavour of the food would be impeccable, but ‘surprisingly’ it was mediocre. Secondly they charge for water! It’s a Turkish restaurant… If you look at the plate of food that we got for £50, it would most likely just be enough for 2 small adults to eat well. As a family we were still hungry after having the meal. The only good part were the service team, they were polite and had good knowledge of the menu. If you do decide to go here I highly recommend you come with a small appetite and a bottle of water.

   The chicken combo starter for two was £16 which is absolutely extortionate, I have added a picture here for you. The service was lovely and friendly from the two female staff. The food was very tasty and I would recommend.

   The ambiance is very authentic and friendly. The appetizers were delicious. The kebab and shish were nice. The eggplant kebab was a bit heavy. The prices are reasonable. I recommend it.

   Nazar BBQ House in Evington is a real gem! The food was absolutely delicious – every dish we ordered was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. What truly elevated our experience was the excellent service. In particular, a young lady, who I believe was called Neera, provided outstanding service. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcome. We'll definitely be returning soon!

   A really nice intimate place in Leicester. Has a nice cosy family vibe to the restaurant and the interior has a lot of nice Turkish elements which give it a nice homely atmosphere. The food is really good quality and tastes authentically Turkish. The only other Turkish place I have tried in Leicester was Etci Baba but in all honesty, I much preferred it here at Nazar BBQ. Would definitely recommend and come again!

   Having been to Turkey many times, it was great to go to a restaurant with such authentic flavours. Felt like I was there. Small restaurant so definitely worth booking but definitely worth a visit. We had the sharing platter for 4 and a few starters and it was a real feast. Very delicious and plenty for us all. I was so excited when the food arrived, I forgot to take a photo. A small restaurant and a couple of steps up so not ideal for wheelchair access.

   There's a good range of food, probably better for meat eaters rather than Vegetarians or Vegans. We had a friendly welcome and there was lots of seating. The food came out really quickly and well delicious and hot.

   This place is a gem the staff are brilliant so attentive. The food was so delicious. Having come in the month of Ramadan the staff provided us with dates and made sure the food came out on time for us to open our fast.
