“Amazing! Good price and very delicious food! My friend told me the seabass is the best in Cardiff, and she is right! So tasty. I strongly recommend it. The lemon mint drink is very refreshing. I love it too. The amount of food is so large that you may not be able to finish it yourself.”
“Booked last minute for an early table on new years eve, before a visit to the glee club in Cardiff - all I can say is WOW the food is incredible!!! first time here but def wont be the last, the BEST tsatsiki ive ever had in the uk - everything was tasty & very well presented - we were even given complimentary baklava which was also delicious! We will definitely return :)”
“This place has phenomenal Adeni tea, easily some of the best I’ve had in Cardiff. It’s rich, fragrant, perfectly spiced, and only £1.50, which is incredible value. The food here is good as well, but the tea alone makes it worth visiting. The staff are warm, welcoming, and bring a genuine Middle Eastern hospitality to the place. It’s a popular spot with the local community, and you can see why—great prices, good portions, and a relaxed atmosphere. They accept bank transfer or cash, which is convenient. Highly recommend stopping by, especially for the Adeni tea.”
“Me and my friend ate here tonight... I had the mixed grill. The food is so fresh and tasty and the guys there are really polite! Great service and amazing food, what more can you wish for!? Sadly we're not from the area and only working down here for two weeks. When you work away a lot you relay on Google for good reviews, which we use a lot. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!! We'll be back again next week. Absolutely amazing! 5*”
“Tasty food, first time trying Syrian food and it did not disappoint. So many different flavours, nice menu and friendly staff. Not to mention the beautiful interior decor.”
“This is probably the best value kebab house in Cardiff. Fantastic for daily eats. The bread and nan are cooked from scratch in front of you numerous times a day. The salad fresh and crisp and the lamb and chicken shawarma is nicely seasoned and tastes great. Plus friendly staff who greet you with a smile. A great little cafe you will come back to again and again.”
“A delicious collision of East and West bold, balanced, unforgettable. Every bite felt like a carefully written love letter to flavor compliments to the chef. Not just a meal, but a memorable moment already planning my next visit. Service so warm, it could melt butter on a winter day. Food? Even better. I will recommend to all of you. At end I will give compliments for two innocent girls. one kitchen, and endless creativity. Every dish was a masterpiece of flavor and finess.”
“Popped in for lunch on a quiet Sunday. Excellent food at great prices. Definitely be back soon.”
“Erbil Restaurant is a proper gem! The lamb kofta is juicy and full of flavour, and the chicken tikka is spot on. They serve hearty portions with fresh naan, lentil soup, and a crisp salad – all included in the price. The staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome. Whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a relaxed meal, it’s a top choice in Cardiff.()”
“My partner never says no to a good Turkish breakfast and this place did not disappoint. We both enjoyed the Turkish breakfast for two! Good portion, well presented and delicious. The restaurant was clean and staff was great. Would definitely recommend to try.”
“We had Turkish breakfast yesterday and it was really lovely and tasty breakfast. The staff are welcoming warm and friendly and the food is very authentic and so delicious. We had Serpme breakfast, including Omelet, Halloumi, fried eggs, Black and green olive, mozzarella sticks, cheese, sucuk, Beand, feta, Tahina&Molasses, Rosa jam, Honey, chips and salad. I highly recommend it and are looking forward to returning.”
“I’m often in student union and the smell of this shop fills the whole corridor of the ground floor (smells amazing). Very fast service, very nice owner and delicious food! I had the 12 inch wrap and skinny fries and it was delicious! it was my first time having falafel and it was very nice! Also very nice interior. It feels very cosy. Inshallah definitely coming again! Thanks.”
“Best in Cardiff for Persian food. Family run. Polite and friendly service. Food was delicious, well cooked and tender”
“The food here was amazing! We all ordered the mixed kebab with rice and salad, portion size was generous, the meat was tender and full of flavour, and the price was very reasonable. It also came with fresh bread and lovely sauces. The staff were very friendly, we ate here on a hot day and they were very accommodating and moved their fans to suit us. Overall a 5 star experience, thank you!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been dining at Mina Lebanese Cuisine for over 25 years and it has consistently delivered top-notch food, presentation and service. On 8 November, our party of 23 gathered to celebrate my niece’s 50th birthday and everyone – from the children to the most discerning guest – was impressed. The star of the show? The food: beautifully presented, rich in flavour and reliably excellent. Booking ahead meant we could all pick our menus, which made the evening run smoothly. The service was exceptional from start to finish: friendly, attentive and genuinely hospitable. The fact the owner even has a French wine ready for me, knowing I prefer it, speaks volumes. Extra bonus: we were welcomed to bring our own birthday cake (and what a chocolate-tower it was!), and staff were only delighted to help make the moment special. If you’re looking for a restaurant where you’ll get flavour, consistency and heartfelt service, Mina Lebanese Cuisine should be at the top of your list. Mal ---”
“Right around the corner for our stay in Cardiff, we found this restaurant via Google Maps. It was a fantastic surprise. The interior was quiet, beautiful and had an excellent atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, personable and professional. We sampled a lot: hummus with pita bread, lamb, stew, chicken, beef, dolmeh (grape leaf wraps, I believe), doogh (a yogurt drink), mango drink and a Persian-made tea. The portions were very large and everything was delicious. We left with a very positive opinion of the restaurant; one of our best dining experiences in Cardiff.”
“Popped in this evening, 4 of us (2 children) and had a wonderful meal! We had a mix of starters and mains and everything was delicious! Best hummus, vine leaves were tasty, salmon perfectly cooked. Can't fault anything and we are all looking forward to going back! Great value as well!”
“The best Lamb Mandi I ever had! Alhamdulillah, it’s so delicious and tasty. The guys were amazing and friendly, Masha Allah!”
“After a long camping trip in Wales, we stopped in Newport before heading back home. We randomly parked in front of a restaurant that caught our attention as we had never tried Yemeni food before. It was our first time trying it, and we can confidently say it won't be the last. The man serving our table was incredibly friendly and approachable, and the food was simply amazing. As a starter, he brought us a delicious lamb soup before our actual order, which was packed with flavour. Moreover, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were excelent. We wholeheartedly recommend this place, and it will definitely be our go-to spot every time we travel to Wales.”
“lovely place, friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious. the portion sizes are quite filling. definitely worth your money”
“The food is awesome service is slowish that's because everything is freshly made ,good choice of varies foods ,pizzas are banging,so os their half chicken meals”
“This cake and dessert shop is absolutely delicious without doubt, always cooked freshly, and an array of desserts to choose from. They do the Dubai chocolate which my kids absolutely love ❤️ and the price from here is very competitive and tastes better in comparison to others too. There is seating towards the back of the cafe. They are a very clean and tidy restaurant/cafe which I do give credit as some restaurants/cafes do seem to find it difficult to keep up standards especially when it gets busy. So credit to them. Must give a shout out to Hani, always thoughtful, smiling, and helpful. Will be back soon guys, and Ramadan is here so will definitely be placing all my dessert orders from you IA.”
“Just had a meal with my family, i can say the food is lovely. The place is lovely too as you cannot see it from outside. Once you enter and look back of the place. Staff's are friendly too. Menus are more traditional than what we find on any other Turkish restaurants. The portion size is good too. I would recommend to try this place.”
“Thank u for finding us a seat for 2 last night on a very busy night in Cardiff. Forgot pics before tucking in, but me And the wife loved the food and service and also the very happy and cheerful staff.”
“I absolutely love this place! The halwa puri is hands down the best I’ve ever had – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared every time. The portion size is generous, and it always feels like a comforting, authentic experience. On top of that, the service is excellent. The staff are warm, attentive, and make you feel truly welcomed. It’s rare to find a restaurant that consistently delivers both amazing food and top-notch hospitality, but this one does it flawlessly. Highly recommended”
“just had a coffee and a kibda ....speciality arabic kidney baguette. mmmmm A lovely homely cafe with Arabic and Turkish coffee. Sweets from Algeria and traditional Arabic and African snacks. Fresh tasty and very local. Eat in or Take out. The owner Abu Hisham is so warm and welcoming. Always a big smile. Hot and clod snacks. Coffees and teas. In the heart of the student area in cathays Cardiff. Cf14 cf24.”
“I was returning from the chemist. I was hungry and had been hungering for some lamb cooked over charcoal. I asked their recommendations, and their chef came over and told me the lamb options they had. I ordered Beyti, which was lamb mince mixed with chopped herbs and spices, in a freshly toasted wrap. It was simply amazing. Great depth and range of flavours, and the servings were more than enough. It was a great eating experience, and the chef was right to recommend eating the salad mixed in with the lamb in the wrap; the flavours mingled yet were side by side in each bite. Outside and inside looked inviting, the interior decor was pleasing with a 'night life in a hot country holiday' kind of vibe- gold, black, mirrors, that sort of thing. Seating was comfortable, and the place was clean. Cutlery was shining. The owner and his son were courteous; it was service with smiles. I've recommended the place to my friends and will be coming there again. It wasn't expensive and this place is a culinary excellence.”
“Great for take aways. Nice fresh food. Good level of choice. Caters well for allergies. Friendly helpful staff. Recently went back and food was again delicious, quality is consistent. Would 100% recommend.”
