   I was returning from the chemist. I was hungry and had been hungering for some lamb cooked over charcoal. I asked their recommendations, and their chef came over and told me the lamb options they had. I ordered Beyti, which was lamb mince mixed with chopped herbs and spices, in a freshly toasted wrap. It was simply amazing. Great depth and range of flavours, and the servings were more than enough. It was a great eating experience, and the chef was right to recommend eating the salad mixed in with the lamb in the wrap; the flavours mingled yet were side by side in each bite. Outside and inside looked inviting, the interior decor was pleasing with a 'night life in a hot country holiday' kind of vibe- gold, black, mirrors, that sort of thing. Seating was comfortable, and the place was clean. Cutlery was shining. The owner and his son were courteous; it was service with smiles. I've recommended the place to my friends and will be coming there again. It wasn't expensive and this place is a culinary excellence.

   Small portions of food, looked like a children's meal. The food at Troy tasted fine nothing special, but portions were shockingly small for the price. The food has definitely gone downhill. My starter of grilled prawns came with a spicy sauce that felt more Indian than Turkish. The main? Just a few tiny cubes of chicken and a stingy scoop of rice. Flavours were okay, but value for money it was not, won't be returning

   Hate to leave a bad review but sadly wouldn’t recommend this place. The food was nice but such a small portion for the price. smaller than a child’s dinner, we all left still starving. Agree with a previous review saying there are far better Turkish places on city road. Won’t return.

   This place is incredible!! The staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly and you can see the food being cooked over the open fires so the atmosphere is tremendous. And the food!!!! Wow!! Everything we had was superb but the chicken was probably the best chicken I have ever had, so beautifully cooked and seasoned. As soon as we left we were trying to think of excuses to go back next week.

   Had a reservation but when I reached, there was no table. The hosts quickly resolved this. The service staff seemed relatively new. They were pleasant to deal with. The food was tasty and well presented. Only qualm was that starters came after the main and it appeared there was more attention paid to regular customers than new comers. I would recommend it as a place to try out as perhaps the day I visited was too busy, hence my experiences.

   Dropped in for dinner at around 17:30, me and my wife both opted for the mixed grill, the food was very tasty we really everything. Had a side of chips which were freshly cooked and crispy. Atmosphere was relaxing, with old Motown and soul tracks playing in the background. Service was very..::the free bread and dips to start with were delicious but I had to stop myself from feasting on them because I wouldn’t have finished my main course. Definitely recommend….we will be back

   I'll give it a 3.5 star rating, had a ribeye steak on bone which was abit dry and plain for my liking but otherwise okay I enjoyed d the meal but it could have been better with a little more seasoning. Portions were decent, nice music too
