Tried Omani Food for the first time and very pleased with my decision. Very high quality food, fresh and tasty. Atmosphere and ambience are ideal for a telaxed lunch or dinner. Staff arr very kind and polite. Strongly recommend this place.
Pretty good meal here, unfortunately they'd sold out of the dishes we wanted to try. Half a chicken was great, good flavour with crispy skin. Lamb shank was OK but a little bit dry and very heavy on the cumin. The curried broth (which was complimentary) was delicious, will definitely return to try the lamb Mandi in future. Prices are very low
Very poor service. We were visitors there and didn't know any good halal restaurants there. A local person guided us to go to this restaurant but we are disappointed by their services and food. We waited there for 40 mins to bring dishes. Every time, they used to give an excuse that they are having a lot of online orders but it was their job to manage their workload. We ordered biryani rice, kabsa rice, and mix meat grill plate with salad. It's just a name "biryani", at actual they were boiled rice added by yellow color. Kabsa rice was better. The soup wasn't good at all. I hope they have improved till now.
I would love to recommend this halal Omani Resturant. All good food we had. People are nice and environment was very clean. Best was Omani Coffee MashAllah. The best thing is that serving was good in cheap price.
Super duper delicious grilled whole seabass served with rice and salad. Excellent service, very kind waiter catered to my request for extra salad and less rice. Came with complimentary lentil soup.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted was delicious. Absolutely the best meal we had while in (Cardiff). Highly recommend!
Amazing! Good price and very delicious food! My friend told me the seabass is the best in Cardiff, and she is right! So tasty. I strongly recommend it. The lemon mint drink is very refreshing. I love it too. The amount of food is so large that you may not be able to finish it yourself.
I have been there a couple of times now, and the first time was a disappointment. I ordered the Chicken Biryani, but what came was this humongous mountain of rice with a few small chicken pieces. The amount of rice was enough for 4 servings, but the chicken barely would suffice one. The rice itself however was flavoursome and after taking more than half my meal home, I was able to use other home-cooked meat with it. I also tried their Karak tea, which is one of the few places in Cardiff where it is available - a must try I would say! The second time was a quick visit and I ordered a Lamb Shish wrap which was really well flavoured and presented too (see picture!). I'd definitely come again to try the other more authentic Omani dishes.
