My first visit to this restaurant in a group of 10. Very nice decor and table layout. We all had the set price meal with plenty of choice. Will definitely go again soon and take some photos next time.
Greatest food in St Helens. Literally no where better to go for indian food. I come here at least once a week and they’ve never let me down. Their garlic chilli chicken is the nicest curry i’ve had. Highly recommend this place to anyone in St helens
Right, I'm writing this very poor review on this takeaway, I came home from a 13h shift and I wanted a nice tasty Indian for my tea, BUT when I received my food, it was poorly packed. The chicken biryani was cold and it didn't have ANY flavour to soothe my taste buds, it also had peas which a biryani shouldn't have in, The chips tasted rubbery and they was soggy, like if they was left out on the side for ages, l ordered 1 poppadom but it was extremely stale like the chips, I wouldn't order from there EVER AGAIN
We decided to visit here tonight for a little treat, first time we have been, it was beautiful, the decor is lovely and the staff are very friendly and attentive, we were seated straight away and had our poppadoms and drinks within 5 minutes, we very much enjoyed our meal, my son especially enjoying the masala sauce as requested without meat, very happily accomidated. The bread was warm and the Currys were hot and delicious, the boys especially loved the little touch of the frozen ice in a glass making the effect of steam all over the table, very joyful. We are definitely going to go again.
Ordered tonight from Uber Eats and for once it was a quick delivery but food was very disappointing. Mixed starter was OK and just warm enough to eat, Special fried rice was just too greasy and just about warm, and the so called Special Rogan josh was a bland tomato based barely spiced sauce, definitely NOT a Rogan josh and less spicy than a Korma. Peshwari naan was ok and tasty but only had coconut inside. A complete disappointment and total waste of Money. Update on issue Sent a message via their website but no reply sent an email to their so-called customer care after no reply to message and yet again no reply Decided to call in to try and rectify the issue as had put the majority of the inedible meal in the fridge and took it with me so I could show them how bad it was but all I got was verbal abuse from the manager who even threatened me with calling the police if I did not leave, tried to reason with him but the abuse carried on. Asked him politely to at least just taste the so called curry but he refused, politelty asked the staff but they also refused. He seemed to think that the message I had left via their website about the issue and then the email to their non existent customer support should be left unanswered as it was a complaint. He kept saying it was not his problem and to contact Uber even though it was the food that was the issue not the delivery. Even when I managed to calm him down his attitude was still the same. No excuse for the verbal abuse from the manager and the total lack of customer care and no attempt from the establishment to try and resolve the issue. Any half decent manager would of at least tried to resolve the issue and the review could of had a positive ending and could have turned a BAD review around.

Table for one! End of week meal... really hit the spot! Delicious food in a smart setting. Polite staff and reasonably priced.
Another great night at the Palace last night,thanks to John,hussain and the team who made us feel welcome. Food always excellent and the service was excellent as normal.
