“This takeaway is under rated! Best authentic Indian food I have ever tried. Hands down this takeaway blows others out of the water. So many flavours in 1 container its unbelievable! “On the first morning at Trent Bridge, these were offering free samples of the cheese wraps and I took a couple on the way past. They were so delicious, I hunted them down on the second morning, got chatting and ordered my breakfast from them. The couple running the stall were so friendly and the food was so delicious that I went back every morning for my breakfast naan and a chat before play began. The addition of a beautifully creamy pistachio kulfi for a Sunday special made it perfect treat. I am planning to come back to Trent Bridge again very soon and I hope these will be there to make for a perfect visit.”

“Came all the way from Manchester to eat here again. Pizza is flavorful, chips are crunchy, doner meat is juicy, prices are great(10 quid for the doner calzone) and it's right by the train station. Very friendly staff, low wait times. Would recommend.”

“Rogan Josh was to die for! Went here for date night as tried every other Indian restaurant and takeaway in the Nottingham area and this place beats them all. We was greeted at the door and shown to a table where we was served with popadoms whilst we waited for our food. The service was AMAZING and felt like the most welcome atmosphere in Nottingham. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE as it’s authentic food where as a lot of other places are fake googled recipe and use food colouring.”

“We were fortunate enough to make a late booking at MemSaab for a party of 8 on a Saturday night. All members of staff were friendly and very attentive. We weren't sure what to eat and the main waiter suggested a range of dishes for our party ( Which included 2 vegetarians). We tasted a range of dishes (Vegetarian, Vegan, Chicken, Lamb, Fish) and each one was unique in flavour, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! Our party of 8, (who have tasted Indian food from every corner of the UK) were amazed by the food, and also the service received. I highly recommend eating at MemSaab!”

“It’s small, but the food is great! The guy works very hard to accommodate you and you do have to wait for your food, but it’s well worth the wait! Only point I would add is take your own drink including soft drinks because the soft drinks choices is limited and there’s no alcohol on sale!”

New ownership and the only downside was no alcoholic beverage, although you were allowed to bring your own. Apparent lack of customers, but I think that was down to the open planning. Put some blinds up and make it a bit more private looking, and it's definitely a winner. It's certainly worth a visit and is now my goto restaurant for Indian cuisine.”

“We ordered alot of food, lamb chops, special tikka, chicken Jalfreze, Balti, garlic naans, basmati rice, egg fried rice, fish balti. THIS IS THE BEST TANDORI/INDIAN I HAVE EVER HAD. I can be a picky eater, it was absolutely delicious. The only thing I would say that could be better was the lamb chops, they were quite tough and too much seasoning but still ediable.”

“We have been ordering from here for ages and its always been brilliant but I have to write this to mention the honesty and kindness of the delivery driver, we ordered last Saturday and my partner had given him 2 20 pound notes without realising. When he finished his delivery's he called back to give it back to us. We didn't have a clue we had given too much. I thought it very honest of him. Well done that man”
