“The service was and always is excellent at Banyan Tree. The staff are always very professional and friendly at the same time. The restaurant area is always immaculate and clean and refreshingly, the washrooms are always clean and fresh smelling.”
“Strangely enough this pub has one of the best Indian I've had in Nottingham ❤️”
“I have been Taste of India before, but tonight was special - tonight I brought my dad out for dinner like we used to many years ago trying a variety of Indian restaurants. The table was booked for 6pm via the app and we arrived 10minutes earlier, now we were greeted by two regular staff and was received warmly, professionally. Guided to our table, seated and asked for drinks. The restaurant is clean, precise but the only downfall is where the reception and till is situated running along to the kitchen, I feel could be blocked off by a rolling wall to give the staff their privacy. After careful consideration, we choose our appetiser Onion Bhaji x3 which is a really good amount for £4.95, then we ordered a lamb rogan josh which you need to order seperate rice and two plain naan, with my order of keema balti (which I asked if they could make, due to not being on the balti menu - no problem for the staff) also provided with the balti was rice and chapati. As you can see from the pictures, the onion bhaji was cooked to perfection - no raw onions and no clump build up, my father loved the little touch of salad and the wedge of lemon in a squeezer. So it was 10mins to receive the starter, which is freshly cooked and then about 20mins to receive the main - truth be told I have waited longer, so I was impressed with the time because all food is cooked fresh. When the mains arrived, it was enough time to be hungry again. The rice was fluffy, not stodgy and was not overcooked or microwaved, it was tasteful on its own. The Keema was incredible, not overwhelmed with onions but balanced with flavour versus the little kick it gives. Presented beautifully, and the food was so good I did not need to use my fork - thank the lord for chapati and naan. My father's lamb rogan josh was perfectly coloured and the lamb was a lovely pink in the middle, very well cooked and seasoned. It was so nice he managed to clear his plate, lol, I needed a doggy bag and throughout the meal the customer service was second to none. Attentive, polite, professional and smart appearance also extremely helpful. All in it cost £42.05, but I have to be honest I would of paid up to £60. It was a dad and daughter night, will be back again - also my father loved his food and he is extremely picky. So it can be expensive but that's life, what a food and taste experience in beautiful surroundings but I miss the pictures of the waterfalls with cascading water.”
“Fresh, tasty Chinese food that always arrives nice and hot! Thank you”
“Just collected a meal and it was in every aspect absolutely delicious! 3 tomato based dishes, all completely individual, perfect naans, and one of the best saag paneer! Hot, tasty and very well priced! Fantastic takeaway!”
“The best indian food around. Always freshly cooked, very tasty, great choice and fantastic quality.”
“We just had our 8th order from Royal Spice and it was delicious, as always. The Chicken tikka masala was richly flavoured and sweet with coconut, the Chana Puri (chick pea starter served on flatbread) was perfectly seasoned and flavoured, and the lamb shashlik was even better. On previous occasions we've ordered the lamb balti and that was beautifully spiced. In my opinion, this is the best Indian takeaway in the area. Oh, and the chap who runs it is a lovely fella.”
“What a curryspot best lamb balti I've had since moving to Nottingham I asked for it extra hot and Was just right pilau was ligh and fluffy as was the cheesy garlic naan thankyou boys will be ordering again... Our new favourite takeaway ♥️”
“Pizzas fron here is amazing. Last night I bit the bullet and ordered a lamb Dansak. Anyone that knows me knows I love Dansak but it has to be spicey and I've only come across 2 places that does it how I like it. Agra in Ilkeston (which has closed) and a place in Wales lol. So I've never tried anywhere else for 2 years. Well Tandoori surprised me, their lamb Dansak is the absolute best!!! Will be returning!! Staff are amazing too!!! Love it here”
“First time visiting yesterday with my partner and I must say impeccable service and food. We will defiantly be returning in the future. Thank you ❤️”
“Always excellent Indian takeaway. Fast delivery.”
“The Indian cuisine here is amazing. The lamb is incredibly tender and not tough at all, as if it has been slow-cooked to perfection. The blend of spices is wonderful, and the onions are cooked just right. It's truly a delightful experience.”

“came here for brunch with friends, between us we tried both the vegetarian and vegan breakfasts, as well as hot and iced lattes. was very impressed by the range of dishes offered and the way that the vegan and veggie dishes didn’t just seem like an afterthought. very reasonably priced - full English with a coffee for £11 a head and not lacking on quality or portion size either!! coffee was great too, and we were told that it’s from a local roaster too which is great. Staff were very polite and friendly and it’s just so nice to find another cosy spot that is reasonably priced and caters to everyone!!!”
“Every time I go there the food exceeds expectations. I always get the lam chops nd with them being pan fried there's no were for the flavour to escape. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, quick delivery's and quality food what more could I ask for!!”
“We ordered Platter for 4 people, and it was absolutely fantastic! The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and every single item tasted fresh and full of authentic flavour. The mix of kebabs, curries, rice, roti, naan, and sides made it a perfect meal to share. The spices were perfectly balanced — rich, aromatic, and comforting without being overwhelming. The meats were tender and well-marinated, and the biryani had that classic, irresistible Pakistani aroma. The naan was soft and fresh, and the chutneys added the perfect finishing touch. This platter is great value for money and ideal for families or groups. We all loved it and will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended!”
“5 stars because of the fact that despite they was busy, they still managed to get on with it and food was in my hands before you know it. Nice food also.”

“Great takeaway and got can also eat in. We've always had good curries from here. If you're a student, you can bring your own bottle, I think there are other student deals too.”
“3rd May 2024 We oreded food from Dosawala. Don't go by the name... you get more tasty dishes than just dosas. Every week a different restaurant to order.... is our motto. We orderd Chicken Noodles, Chicken Lolipop, Chicken Chilli, Paneer Chilli and Chicken Biryani. Good tasty food at a resasonable price. Arruved on time, no delays, food was tasty... that that normal biryani was delivered in place of tikka biryani that we orded.”
“Absolutely fantastic. The food is fresh and delicious... the garlic naan was beautiful and the onion bhajis were perfect and plentiful. The gentlemen who served me were polite and professional. Lemon and Chilli provided the best Indian food I've had for years. Sandiacre needed this place and I'm so glad it's here. My new favourite Indian takeaway.”

“Nice curry and Tandoori Roti, can't beat it”
“We are very happy to visit an Indian restaurant again during our trip. We love this world of taste and culture. It wouldn't happen any differently today. The restaurant is simple, spacious and clean. Reception and service of guests is adequate. They are kind and helpful in choosing food. Good value for money.People with reduced mobility can also visit the restaurant. For me, the food lacked a bit of salt and it was not the usual intense seasoning. But that doesn't affect the fact that the food was delicious. I can only recommend”
“Where do i start... the atmosphere in here is nice relaxed you can hear each other talk which is good. When coming in your greeted by someone who makes sure your comfortable. Food easy to order quickly and wow starters were sizzling and full of flavour not like other places I've been. The mains were wow my mouth was watering looking at the food, nan and rotis were spot on too. The owner made sure we were comfortable and staf were super reponsive. Its things like this that makes it worth while visiting such a nice place. Will deffo be coming back again. I do have video footage too but can only submit pictures which don't do it justice. Hats off the the owners great place highly recommended”
“A Filling South Indian Buffet On a Friday afternoon, we decided to visit Dosa and Chutney to indulge in their much-talked-about buffet lunch option. Although we had noticed this buffet before, our busy schedules had prevented us from trying it, as it was only available during weekdays. To our delight, we discovered that a buffet could be both satisfying and affordable, showcasing a curated selection of authentic South Indian dishes. The ambiance was straightforward, devoid of fancy salad islands or extravagant displays, but it got straight to the heart of the matter: delicious food. We began our meal with flavorful starters, including spicy chicken wings and crispy onion bhaji, which set the tone for what was to come. Next, we enjoyed a vibrant cauliflower poriyal paired with a steaming bowl of rasam, a traditional spicy South Indian soup that warmed the soul. The main course offered an impressive variety: fragrant biryani, plain rice, sambar, bhindi curry, and a delightful Madras-style lamb and chicken curry. Dosa and naan were available upon request, adding to the feast. Although the spread might seem modest at first glance, once we began to dig in, smiles of pure satisfaction spread across our faces as we savored each spicy treat. My personal favorite was the mutton, which tasted so authentic that it transported me back to Chennai. A pro tip: try the mutton with the dosa—it’s simply amazing! Overall, this buffet is a fantastic value for anyone who loves Indian flavors. Highly recommended!”
“First time ever leaving a review but I feel like I need to. Also first time ordering from here and it was so worth it. Best curry I’ve had in a very long time!! So flavoursome and piping hot, even too hot to eat at first had to let it cool down which is unusual with takeaways these days. You can tell that so much attention has been put into making the curry, ingredients were fresh, it was full of flavour and taste like it was literally homemade. My new go to takeaway on a Friday night. Thank you”
