   Unusually small restaurant with only 4 tables downstairs and similar upstairs. Service was excellent although my wife and I were the only customers. 7pm on a Wednesday. Surprisingly cold in the restaurant which put us off a little but it's a small business. They may be struggling as a couple of other issues showed. Toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months and the decor was a little tired. My madras was very acidic but everything else was pretty good.

   Ate at this cute little place for the first time yesterday evening. So pleased we didn't read the negative reviews beforehand as we may have cancelled .....and missed out on some of the tastiest food we've had for a long time. We deliberately ordered familiar meals (to compare with our usual restaurant/takeaway) and I think we've found our new favourite. Dropped one star merely due to access to toilet being difficult up steep stairs (which would benefit from a lick of paint), toilet was clean but didn't come here to review the loos! All-in-all a pleasant experience with delicious food.

   Only leaving one star because Google makes me… ordered a takeaway via just eat. They falsely advertised themselves as open when it appears the restaurant is closed. My order was never delivered and they didn’t answer my calls. One to avoid as they ruined our evening!!

   We saw the reviews and thought we would try it out. When we arrived there was nobody there to greet us or welcome us. The place was freezing cold and very dark. The lights flickered the entire time. The drinks and starters took a long time to arrive. The food was abysmal. The chicken was dry and tough. The food was super chewy and bland. When we got the bill it cost £91 for 4 mains, 2 starters and 4 drinks. Very overpriced. Especially the soft drinks which were £15 for 4 drinks. Not happy will not be coming back!

   We were new to the area and wanted to visit an Indian restaurant so booked a table, not realising how tiny the place is. It’s so busy with takeaway orders, and with so few tables, that if you’re trying to dine in you’ll have delivery drivers standing at your elbow the whole time. Hardly relaxing. The heating was off and the door constantly being opened. The food was delicious and the portions very generous, but really the place just doesn’t work as a restaurant. As a takeaway though, full marks.
