Have only used as a takeaway, but for us it is the best around (from Sutton-in-Ashfield). Food has always been amazing and the staff are friendly and welcoming, always people in eating in the restaurant while I'm collecting. Will and have recommended
I had an amazing experience at Royal Gurkha. The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful; the newly built building feels modern, fresh, and welcoming. The food was outstanding, with every dish full of flavour and beautifully prepared. Very good value for the food. The wait time was excellent. The staff were truly lovely, so sweet, attentive, and genuinely precious in the way they looked after us. Their warm hospitality made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Overall, impeccable food, incredible service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We order from RG every time we fancy a curry and it is consistently fantastic! It is also great value. Cannot recommend this place enough. We always try something different and it is always amazing! So lucky to have this so close by.
At last! A decent curry in Nottinghamshire. I’m from Birmingham so have spent my life enjoying delicious curries. I’ve tried countless curries in Nottingham and not found one that came close to one from the west midlands. We’ve tried 3 curries so far and all have been really fantastic. The naans are also great, along with the rice and other sides. Can’t fault!

I went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and the food was really tasty. The new owners have also put a lot of effort into modernising the restaurant area. I definitely recommend. I also tried the Gurkha beer and it was really refreshing. Thank you!
