   We ordered through deliveroo. Pizza tasted stale like it had been reheated, also only half had the slightest bit of sauce on and hardly any cheese. Chicken tenders were undercooked and disgusting, and the ‘new recipe’ mozzarella sticks had no sauce like the picture and also looked like someone had thrown them on the floor and put them back in the box. Only acceptable item was the garlic bread. Highly disappointed with the food from such a reputable brand.

   Personally, I had the American pizza. Which is the pepperoni pizza and some spicy chicken wings. The American pizza was the thicker based variant. It was well made and tasted nice. The texture was additionally good. However, compared to other places such as joiners' arms, it was not as nicely tasting. And was also more expensive in comparison. American Pizza (Pepperoni pizza); 7/10 taste. 6.5/10 texture. 5/10 price. Drinks; Pepsi, was £2 a large can. Spicy chicken wings; taste 7.5/10. Texture 5/10. Price 7/10.

   The restaurant itself is very dark and gloomy and could definitely do with a bit of a renovation. We were told on arrival that the wait for food would be about 40 minutes , although this ended up being closer to an hour despite the fact the restaurant was not even half full. There is a really good vegan menu with lots of selection. We ordered the vegan doppio dough ball starter, but halfway through eating it the waitress came back over to check we had ordered the double as what had been brought out to us was apparently just the small portion (pictured). She then returned with the rest of the starter that they had forgotten to give us. The dough balls were nice and hot (about 14 balls in total) with three really nice dips. When the pizzas finally arrived, one was already quite cold but we ate them anyway seeing as we had waited so long. The Padana was delicious and one of my favourites on the menu. The vegan American Hot was quite disappointing not only as it was cold but also would have nice to add a few more vegetables or fresh tomatoes. There was a single tomato and piece of pepper on it which, after asking staff, we were told was to mark the pizza as a vegan meal in the kitchen. We had the cold pizza removed from the bill. Overall it’s a very expensive restaurant despite not being the best experience, however there is a 25% student discount available and a rewards scheme. The staff were friendly and dealt with the issues quickly.

   Visited midweek on an afternoon. The service was very good, our waitress was called Jade and she was very pleasant. Food was a little slow arriving, however we weren't overally in a rush. Pizza was tasty, although not quite on par with other Pizza express restaurants that I've visited. We also had doughballs which were nice. It's worth downloading the pizza express app to get offers on the food. Our bill came to a reasonable £22.

   A pizza was a great size and really tasty. We also had a small dessert with a coffees. We loves go for a chocolate brownie with latte. The restaurant was quiet and staff are very friendly. Very comfortable to stay and good for gatherings.

   We've been visiting this restaurant since it opened and tonight's pizza was probably one of the best we've ever had. It arrived perfectly dressed, hot, perfectly cooked and was so tasty. We did mention this to the staff. They'd done a brilliant pair of pizzas and clearly doing a fantastic job
