“Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Adam the new landlord was very welcoming. The pub has also had a very tasteful makeover since coming under new management to bring it's decor up to date which has enhanced the atmosphere too. All in all the perfect, family friendly country pub.”

“We live around the corner from here use the deli shop in the day around 3 times a week, its fantastic. Italian family owners. Great price on the wine in the shop big 1litre bottles of good wine for £4.95 Great all round. Went to the Restaraunt for the first time last night. Lovely food and very generous portions.”

“I came to this place with my friend on Wednesday as she has been there before and she said it was really good. So we went there and to be honest I didn’t think it was going to be that good l. However I was completely shocked how good the food was in fact I was i element eating the food. The starter nachos was amazing the nachos was proper nachos they put the right amount of cheese and sauce on. The calzone was absolutely amazing. The portion size are big portions. The staff were lovely. The owners are lovely. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.”

“Fantastic food and service for our wedding anniversary dinner. Atmosphere excellent until 4 obnoxious and entitled diners took offence for 3 young girls waiting for their take out food behind their table. The diners were absolutely in the wrong in this situation and spoiled the atmosphere for all other diners by their behaviour. Old enough to know better and should be ashamed of themselves. If I were the owner I would have kicked them out!”

“Godfather’s Pizzas is hands down one of my favourite places to order from. Their cheeseburgers and chips are honestly my go-to and always very fresh. The staff make the place even better, they’re some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, always kind, honest, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of. “A beautiful meal at Prezzo tonight. We had three courses and they were all delicious! The star of the show was definitely the cookie dough which was recommended by our super helpful waiter Mauricio, who couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be back.”

“We visited prior to a matinee performance at Theatre Royal. The decor was beautiful, the staff all very attentive. Sebastian was our waiter and was fab, full of smiles and very helpful. The food was extremely good, we had the 2 course for £25 and 2 from the group had a main off of the main menu, all of it delicious and made to a high standard. Followed by a desert. On leaving the heavens opened and one of the staff (we didn’t get his name) found us an umbrella to borrow, so kind and helpful. Overall a really good experience and would absolutely recommend and will definitely return.”

“We came to Nottingham on holiday and wanted to try some pizza so we searched and looked at some places and chose barolo. I'm so glad we didn't go anywhere else. The pizza was very fresh and tasty, my son loved the burger and the curly fries were amazing and the portions are so generous.”

“A few months ago the store lost its awnings and still has temporary signage and its refurb whilst an improvement was rather underwhelming. But most sad is the lack of attention outside the front of the store which is never swept before the tables and chairs go out. The pictures are BEFORE the front door was opened. Previous review below Lovely shop although it needs a refurb. Lots of community feel here. Toilets are generally not great. Fresh pastries and cakes are lovely. The coffee is very good and they take genuine care in it. The manager is on it and makes sure the team are epic.”

“Very tasty Tender meat (both chicken shish and lamb shish). Pleased atmosphere. Very good salad + pots of sauces especially chilli - perfect! 1 Negative: PLEASE guys - ask customers which salads they would like in their meals ! It's very important to follow each person's preference in terms of salads / sauces. I wanted to give 4 stars based on this experience. However, due to food tastes, I still decided to gove 5 stars.
