First time eating at Prezzo. When we arrived the staff were pleasant and helpful. Was asked if we had any allergies. My husband is a coeliac and the staff were aware of cross contamination and was given a gluten free menu with lots of choices. Food was delicious and atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely eat there again and would highly recommend it.
We had the most lovely evening at Prezzo trying out their Christmas menu. Harry served us all evening and was so incredibly attentive. We had the flatbread & humus to begin, Christmas calzone & carbonara and then finished off with the cinnamon swirl cheesecake (BEST THING EVER) and a fudge cake. The service was super quick despite how busy the restaurant was on a busy Saturday evening. Absolutely love eating here, it’s always a pleasure to visit.
Disappointing experience – overpriced and underwhelming While the location of Prezzo in Nottingham town centre is convenient, that’s unfortunately where the positives end. Overall, the food was very mediocre. Portion sizes were fine, but the quality was lacking. I ordered a chicken burger which was tough and dry on the inside, overly crispy on the outside — clearly flash-fried from frozen. It wasn’t enjoyable. Service felt rushed and impersonal. The restaurant was busy, but it had the feel of a fast-paced "in and out" operation. Our server even forgot the parmesan cheese with the dish, and trying to get anyone’s attention after that felt more hassle than it was worth. To top it off, the bill came to over £70 — definitely not worth the price — and a service charge was automatically added. I considered asking for it to be removed, but frankly didn’t have the energy to flag someone down in the chaos. The overall vibe felt more like a student canteen than a restaurant — fast food at premium prices, with substandard quality. I wouldn’t rush back.
A beautiful meal at Prezzo tonight. We had three courses and they were all delicious! The star of the show was definitely the cookie dough which was recommended by our super helpful waiter Mauricio, who couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be back.
Visited as part of the 50% off offer they were doing for the refit, it was nice but would not pay the full price for any of the food we recieved, soft drinks are served in cans and are charged just shy of £4, the restaurant looked ok, but could still do with some bits of TLC - Fans in the toilets are dirty etc! There was lots of new staff, which was good but they really didn’t understand what to do, and the chefs obviously don’t know the menu, as some dishes didn’t look like the menu! Would we return, not in a rush - but since I’ve signed up for this voucher, I’ve been bombarded with vouchers - why don’t you reduce you menu charges, and save on the emails!!
Lovely food, atmosphere and service from a very friendly waitress called Eve! The only negative was that the restaurant was a little chilly despite a heater being plugged in near us.
Its been a while since we last visited her. Went with the family for lunch today. Food was OK. Calamari £7.95 quite nice King Prawns £7.95 nice Fried Mozzarella £7.95 OK but not worth the price. Only four little peices forgot to take a pic. Pasta dishes were nicely cooked and tasty. Pizza was nice too. Found the prices to be on the high side. Especially the drinks £9.50 for a large glass of Sauvignon blanc. Large glass of house red £7.50 Only went because we could use the Meerkat offer. Overall service was good which they add 10% on your bill, but it is expensive for what it is. Didn't have desserts.
The service was very good. Polite and very friendly staff. The pasta dish was a little overcooked for my liking, but was nice and filling. The truffle fries were divine and the blackcurrant cheesecake was so delightful. Would go again.
The food was okay, however it was a bit bland. Goat cheese pasta was quite good, but the mushroom as well as the chicken alfredo tagliatelle were quite bland and needed salt and pepper to have some sort of taste. Side of fries was nothing special, quite oily. Portions were also a bit small, and were more of a starter portion but at mains price. There was also a single spaghetta in the goat cheese penne, which while harmless, suggests that pasta may be mixed in the kitchen. The bathrooms were relatively clean and comfortable, however were accessible via a narrow, winding staircase. There was also no soap in 2/3 bathrooms. The staff were kind, but clearly overworked and they seemed severely understaffed. People were hurriedly running back and forth throughout. Due to the lack of available staff, we had to wait a while before we could catch someone’s attention. We were also charged £5 for bottled water, which is quite expensive for a country with clean tap water. We were never give the option for tap water. On top of all that, a hidden £5 service charge was applied, which was a frustrating way to close off an already mediocre dining experience.
