   Godfathers has become my reliable choice whenever I want pizza, and after many visits I can say they deserve five stars.    Years ago when we first tried this place, we thought it was just all right. But the last few times we’ve ordered from here it’s been absolutely fantastic! Lots of toppings, hot, perfectly cooked pizza. Absolute takeaway bliss. And a great value too. We’ve been ordering directly off their website. My fav is the spicy vegetarian with one type of meat added. My husband likes the Mexican. And believe it or not, that inexpensive salad is fresh and surprisingly large. Don’t leave it off your order. I wish I’d taken a photo. It’s easy to pull up in your car on the next street up on Hucknall Road if you’re picking up your order on your way out from the city centre. Definitely going to make this a regular thing.

   Godfather’s Pizzas is hands down one of my favourite places to order from. Their cheeseburgers and chips are honestly my go-to and always very fresh. The staff make the place even better, they’re some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, always kind, honest, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of. Highly recommend!

   At roughly 19:50 I ordered from them ( I am a 10min drive/2miles away) and after 1 and 1/2 hours I had to ring up as I was wondering where my food was as I was quoted at most a 1 hour wait. It turns out they cancelled my order and never bothered to tell me as the "location is too far away", I received no call or email from them stating that it was cancelled plus if it was the case that I was too far for them to deliver then why was I able to order from them in the first place? The thing that got me the most was that they basically blamed me and told me it's 'its your problem' when I rang up asking what was going on because I never received the non-existent cancellation email (received all the conformation emails though) and that I shouldn't be ordering from so far away (again I was allowed to order on their site in the first place). If I would give a 0 star I could.

   Quick service, great price, delivered hot, great toppings BUT why oh why is the pizza base soft like a pancake? I have opted to reheat half in the oven tomorrow with the hope that the base will harden. Such a shame as flavours are great.
