“Had a party for a retirement celebration. There were 14 of us and we complicated things with last minute changes to numbers due to sickness. Staff couldn’t do enough and everything went very well and smoothly. They re-set the table and made space for 2 prams for our newborn babies. Nathan was our allocated waiter and took the time to go over the changes to the pre orders, last minute changes and allergies to ensure they were all correct. Great food and service. Lovely atmosphere too. A wonderful afternoon.”

The presentation of the meals was amazing, and the birthday guests were treated to a lovely surprise cake! A special thank you to the owner, who kindly posted our daughter’s forgotten book back to us — such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care about their customers. “Had a bhuna which was outstanding. Biryani which was an actual biryani not just coloured rice. Garlic cheese naan very cheesy and soft. Pakoras best I’ve ever had with a delicious homemade raita. Shami kebab clearly handmade and covered in tikka onions, 10/10. Without a doubt the best curry I’ve ever eaten and I’m probably into a couple of thousand curries at this point. “Fine dining is reflected with the chefs passion for ingredients and fresh produce. The two chefs are always competing to make each dish better every time. I recommend the scallops starter, as an example where each chef has tweaked the dish to get higher and higher praise each time it's served. Service is impeccable, which is what you would expect from a Maitre d'hotel from the armed forces, serving in the officer's mess. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, as today we live in a world of pub grub and a decline in fine dining experiences which should make you feel that you have had "a special meal"”

“Hsd 2, 12inch pizza and large fries with 2 milkshakes. Food is very good. My milkshakes was watery but when I phoned them up to explain my concern about the milkshakes they promised and delivered 2 10/10 milkshakes. Great service and great food and milkshakes.”
