   Our family met up with our in-laws from the North West, and this cosy restaurant was the perfect place for our birthday celebration. The presentation of the meals was amazing, and the birthday guests were treated to a lovely surprise cake! A special thank you to the owner, who kindly posted our daughter’s forgotten book back to us — such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care about their customers. We’re so grateful for their kindness and for making our evening such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!

   Absolutely delicious the pizza you see is garlic bread with half cheese and half tomato and it was my starter. Sorry I eat most of my main before taking a picture. I would highly recommend this place for a night out with really good food and friendly atmosphere

   What a gem! I’m absolutely obsessed with this Italian restaurant! the food was outstanding. We had the octopus, which was perfectly prepared, and the garlic bread, which was phenomenal. For mains, we tried pasta and a calzone, both excellent. But the true star for me was the bread!! it was a masterpiece on its own, so good it didn’t need any sauce or extras.

   Stopped here for an evening meal while visiting Alton Towers. The food was exceptional and the service from all of the staff was perfect. Very reasonably priced from the standard of food too! Definitely well worth a visit if you're in the area.

   Attentive staff from the moment we entered the door, suave décor, a wood fire and classy atmosphere. Opened with the Roast Octopus which had a deep savoury flavour from the grill, perfectly chewy exterior and a tender inside, bed of peppery oregano and accompanying lemon cutting through and enhancing the entire experience. Unbeatable as a starter. A main of Lasagne, whilst unlikely to blow you away, it is a staple dish done very well by the restaurant. Cheese and Béchamel not overwhelming the other flavours, fries were a side order which rounded the meal out. Classic Tiramisu, the creamy layer had an ideal consistency, light sponge fingers, the cocoa powdering offering a gentle sweetness. I enjoyed each spoonful with the amaretto coming through after the initial sweetness. La Villa Verde was a standout for me, certainly worth going out of your way for.

   It was one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been. The food was very tasteful and there where many tempting options to choose from. The whine was great and the cocktails we had even better. The stuff was very friendly and the service was also fast. We will definitely be back soon.

   Left feeling rather disappointed. We booked to try a new local restaurant, for a birthday celebration. Table was booked at 16:30 for 8 people, which (according to their website) is reserved for 2 and a half hours for a party of 5 or over. On arrival we were informed immediately that the table was available to us for two hours only. We were offered drinks once all members of the party arrived, I would say drinks are priced expensive (£30 for a bottle of Chardonnay!). Food was nice but not what I would say amazing, average really. We had 2 children with our party, however there is no children’s menu, which was disappointing. As soon as we had finished our dessert, we were again told the table needed to be vacated at 18:30, and again reminded when we paid the bill. The constant reminder that we only had two hours left us all feeling very rushed and that they wanted us in and out asap. We certainly won’t rush back after our experience unfortunately.

   We have just visited this restaurant on its first week of opening having seen the renovations which were taking place and we were keen to see what it was like. It was ideal having an Italian restaurant close to home with the next closest being some 10 miles away. We weren’t disappointed with our experience. The staff were very welcoming and attentive when we arrived. The decor is very light and well presented and the ambiance is just right. Each course we selected was authentic Italian, and very tasty with a large selection on offer. The home made tiramisu is particularly good. Overall I would really recommend visiting here and supporting a new venture. We will definitely be returning. Excellent!!
