“A proper oldie pub defo worth a visit”
“Highly recommend!!! wonderful food. Great dessert, and brilliant service. you should really come.”
“Lucky enough to be treated to Sunday Roast by friends from Cheadle. Visited from Canada and spent 10 days in UK, the food here was the best we had even compared to London! Best Wishes for continued success!!!”
“Went on a Saturday for the lunch, it was quiet at the time, only 3 of us were the customers . We ordered masala dosa, kizhi parotta beef , fish thali and two mango lassi. The place is clean and had a good vibe with music. Food came out within 25 minutes and food was amazing. Portion size is very generous. I think it’s value for the money. Only thing I noted customer service is not up to the standard might need some training on it. Highly recommended if you’re are in to South Indian food.”
“I absolutely loved this place I took my niece and nephew there and they usually do not eat a lot but this time they finished their food and even asked for more!! This is my new favourite place!!”
“The food was excellent - some of the best Chinese food I've had recently. I particularly liked the kai sung (it reminded me of the san choy bow you find in Chinese restaurants in Australia). The sizzling beef was served on a sizzling hot platter with a tasty pepper sauce. The wonton soup had luscious and juicy prawn wontons with a generous serve of wontons. We decided to go a la carte, but the range of set menus is impressive and well priced too. It was lovely to see the restaurant team welcoming people and checking in with people at key stages of the meal. It had a really nice family feel and vibe! Luckily we booked our table the night before dining as the restaurant filled up very quickly after we arrived. We were visiting family in the area, so we don't live close by - but we've said we would gladly return on future visits. It is great to support local business and not just dine in the same restaurant chains.”
“Very delicious, authentic Thai food set in a beautiful pub-like setting (if you're looking for pub food, that would be at the Talbot pub next door). The food appealed to both first timers and fans of Thai food. Service was exceptional, and they were dog-friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.”
“Some of the best food I have tried in a while - something about these cash only, lack of 'Instagrammable ' decor , olden school restaurants are amazing. The prices are really good especially platters in terms of portion size, the meat is all freshly cooked as is the rice and curries. I would definitely recommend.”
“Very nice food. Very passionate owner who wishes to share the joy of canton food. Respect! Some traditional canton dishes can be found here like pipa tofu. Recommend!”
“Oh! My! Sweet! Jaysus! This food was absolutely fantastic! I walked in asking for something the chef would be proud of. Gentlemen you should be very proud, it was some of the best, if not THE best Turkish food I’ve ever had! 1000 stars!!!”
“Super delicious and fresh food, made on the spot and really tasty. Great value for a huge portion. Be aware they don't accept card so you need cash or to be able to do bank transfer.”
“We had a brilliant experience Izzy looked after us and even though it was really busy she was fantastic. The food was really nice and we will definitely be returning. Thank you!!”
“All 3 staff we dealt with were great. Shout out to Glizz! Food was fab. We will be back :)”
“Looking for a pre show meal? You could do no better than eat here. The service was polite, attentive but never intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was incredible. Cooked fresh to order and beautifully presented. Loved the theatre too of being able to see the pizza oven in action. Probably the best dining experience we have enjoyed for a long time.”
“We walked in and was seated very quickly. The staff are brilliant and friendly. Portions size was good and price was brilliant. Thank you.”
“Lovely meals at Pan Asian.. highly recommended for loved ones to try it. I advise you to empty your bowels before going to the restaurant to enjoy every bit of the moments. I think you should go Hungry to have a taste of every meal. I was filled before going and couldn’t get to taste more meals.”
“Opens at 12, best to arrive around then as it can get busy later. Great selection of food available with a kids menu as well. Food is served quickly and even when busy you do not have to wait long. The staff are friendly, helpfull and quick to clean the tables. Lots of space inside with seating outside as well. Good atmosphere. Great value for money. Regular buses on the road by the carpark.”
“A Five-Star Fiery Treat in Stoke-on-Trent! I recently had a wonderful dining experience at the Nando's located in the Intu Potteries shopping centre in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and I highly recommend it to everyone! The food, as always, was absolutely great. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tender, and the Peri-Peri flavour was spot on—truly the tasty, satisfying meal you expect from Nando's. It's the perfect spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. However, what truly made this visit exceptional was the staff. The entire team was friendly, efficient, and clearly dedicated to providing excellent service. I must give a special, massive thank you to a lady named Hannah. She went above and beyond to ensure my table was looked after, serving with a genuine smile and a level of professionalism that is rare to find, and then supported the staff in the cooking area. Her energy and helpfulness made the whole experience run smoothly. Thanks to the great food and the truly excellent staff, especially Hannah, this Nando's location is a winner. Keep up the fantastic work! Rami & Walaa”
“Called in as we were passing. Didn't know what to expect but WOW... The food was fantastic, especially the lamb Quzi. And the soups that came with were lovely. We will definitely be returning.”
“We had a lovely afternoon tea, the sandwiches were very fresh & full, beef & horseradish, tuna & sweetcorn, ham & chutney, cheese & tomato, the cakes were delicious, lemon cheesecake, banoffee, cream sponge cake, chocolate cake & taylors tea with nice friendly service in a lovely setting one of the best cream teas we have had.”
“Popped in for a traditional pint of ale while over from Australia visiting my father in hospital. The old style interior added a rustic charm, typical of what you hope to find in an English pub. Didn't eat while I was there but the menu on the table looked like a good selection of pub classics at reasonable prices. Next time I'm in the area I'm definitely going back to the Windmill.”
“Great oatcakes, great service, clean and bright environment in which to eat.”
“Calzone was 10/10. Chips could do with some improvement but they were fine overall and we did order late. Still 5 stars because of the Calzone. Fast delivery also.”
“You were so polite and friendly would recommend people in smallthorne to try you”
“Lovely little cafe for a bit of breakfast in 2 minutes walk from the car park. Hot food no problem at all. Thanks girls”
“Beautiful authentic Italian pizzas and they even made a vegan one for my mum. All such friendly staff too! We are very lucky to have a shop like this in Tunstall and I hope people support them.”
