“Decided to book in for a Sunday lunch after reading some other reviews. Really happy that we did as we were served a great Sunday lunch. We all had starters, myself going for the mussels which didn't disappoint and were well presented and very tasty coupled with a nice portion size as were the other starters. We all went for the giant Yorkshire pudding which contains all other elements of this amazing lunch, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, roast and mashed potato and stuffing. The veg was cooked perfectly for us, still having that little bit of bite, nothing was overcooked and it was all piping hot and tasty. By far one of the nicest Sunday lunches that you would possibly compare to one of your own, but without the effort of cooking it yourself. We will be back for this again and to try out some of the other items on the menu.”

“We recently visited while staying over at Alton Towers and didnt want to eat the mass produced food so went here as its quite local and had decent reviews. We were not disappointed with our choice either, what a fabulous little place! The pub part was busy, but service was quick and there was a nice range of local craft ales. The Thai food was fabulous, one of the best red curries I've had for a long time and the family were all pleased with their choices too. Definitely would recommended if your staying in the area, it's well worth a visit.”

The front of the pub might need some maintenance but once you’re inside, you’ll find a cosy, family-run pub with lovely, attentive staff and great views of the surrounding countryside. The Sunday carvery is generous with a variety of meats and a vegetarian option. There are also other non carvery options if you fancy something different. Overall an authentic choice for a quaint Sunday lunch!”

“Food was nice. But i ve had better ramens. The ingredients were very nice, but the soup in it could be better, and the noodles also, were too moist for my preference. But the beef noodles were very tasty and the cherry lemonade ......omG, the best drink i had in years! So nice. The service was also very good. Thank you!”

“Recently moved to Alsager and could not find a nice Chinese after trying all of them until we tried Bamboo House, the food was very fresh tasty and nice and hot would definitely recommend much better than all the others in the town . “Very hard to find a good Chinese takeaway but this was amazing. Portions were huge. Had salt and pepper chips and beef and green peppers in black bean sauce the beef was so tender and flavour amazing. The salt and pepper chips were also excellent. Would highly recommend”
